Masked Superstar © vs. Mil Mascaras
Superstar catches Mascaras with a one-arm backbreaker off a criss cross early on. It turns out to be a major point of the match. Throughout the rest of the bout, the masked Mexican legend is just a tad slow. Still, Mascaras is able to hit a flying head butt and has ‘Star down late. The champ has a little more time to recover when Mascaras grabs his back on the way up to the top turnbuckle. He catches Mil in mid-air and drives him to the mat with a resounding side suplex. Grabbing the far leg, Superstar defends the belt by pinfall @ 29:11. (W)

The Super Inferno defeats Jerry Grey with a diving head butt @ 8:42.
 
Norvell Austin defeats Steve Regal when he rolls through a flying body press by Regal. At the finish of the counter, Austin grabs the tights for the win @ 9:00.
 
Ronnie Garvin defeats El Gran Apollo w/Sir Oliver Humperdink after Apollo messes up and collides with Humperdink on the apron. Garvin lands a punch and rolls the big man into a crucifix @ 11:04.

AWA World Tag Team Championship

The fans welcome back the champs and are solidly in their corner. Gene gets in his shots with the mysterious glove.  Jerry loses it late in the bout. He posts Gene on the floor and gets the glove off. He flips it to Jack in the ring. Jack puts it on, despite the warnings of referee Weathers. He clobbers Arn and the DQ bell rings @ 26:39.  
 
Ole is pounded, as well. The Anderson trio helps each other to the back to nurse their wounds. The fans give an ovation to the still AWA World Tag champs.

Two really good house shows...Swede continues looking good on the undercard...Rose with a nice win...Great defense by Superstar...Zane looked good...Austin with a big win over Regal...Garvin looking good still...The Briscos have to cheat to beat the Andersons, for shame...Nice work Johnny!
