End: Ervin Smith continues his assault and then finally puts him away for the 1-2-3 @ 8:27

Bill Kersten: folks lets go to my colleague Kevin Wahl who is standing by with Vinnie Valentino

Kevin Wahl: Vinnie Valentino, tonight you face Bull Bullinski in the tournament to crown a new Central States Heavyweight Champion. any thoughts sir?

Vinnie: I'm gonna have to use my speed and agility to defeat the big man, but I have faith in myself.

Kevin Wahl: let's go to a quick commercial break and then we'll see that match
.
.
------Commercial Break------
.
.
Bill Kersten: welcome back to All Star Wrestling and this should be a heckuva challenge for young Vinnie Valentino as he faces Bull Bullinski in the round 1 tournament for the Central States title.

End: Bullinski shoves Valentino to the mat and climbs to the top rope, and splash lands on Vinnie and pins him for the win @ 11:07

we see Percival A. Friend slink down to ringside as he has a bit of a smirk on his face.

Bill Kersten: what in the world is Percival Friend doing here now.

Bull Bullinski exits the ring and shakes hands with Percival A. Friend as we see Bill Kersten walk over to them.

Kersten: Percival what on earth is going on here?

Percival A. Friend: lemme tell you something knucklehead this is just the beginning of my new family here in this area.

Kersten: so you're back for good then.

Percival: not that it's your business. but yes I am back. Bullinski is my human wrecking machine ha ha ha

Kersten: you disgust me, fans don't go away we'll be right back.

Kevin Wahl: Bill what is scary is that this is just the beginning of his new family. I wonder who else he's recruited and I'm sure we'll find out.

we see Percival A. Friend walk out and smirk and clap and rub his hands together, and all too quickly leaves again.

End: Zulu hits the power slam and rolls up young Wilhoit for the win to advance in the tournament @ 12:52

Bill Kersten: for those of you who might not have seen it Percival Friend stepped out thru the curtains and was clapping and rubbing his hands as he scouted Magnificent Zulu.

Kevin Wahl: you never know what that devious man may be up to.

Bill Kersten: Ron Slinker has a few words for you fans and his opponent Wilbur Snyder in these prerecorded comments before our commercial break.
.
.

Ron Slinker: I am new to this area but make no mistake about it I've been scoping out this area for awhile now and my opponent. I paid off the matchmaker to give me Snyder as my opponent as I feel I can easily defeat this old codger and go on to win the Central States Heavyweight championship. Snyder you old curmudgeon. Your time has come and gone after 30 years in the business and I will be the one to put you out to pasture. why don't you go back home and take up a hobby and leave the sport alone as all you will do is embarrass yourself. As far as these fans go they're stupid enough to build you up and make you think you still have it when you don't. I hate these stinking fans.

we see Slinker take the mic and shove it down to the floor as we head to a break.
.
.
------Commercial Break------
.

we see Ron Slinker walk down to the ring wearing a red judo jacket with a serious determined look on his face as the fans boo heavily

Bill Kersten: as you can hear these fans already cannot stand Ron Slinker after those awful comments.

we see Wilbur Snyder walk down to the ring wearing plain black trunks and white boots.

Middle: Snyder and Slinker continue to brawl all over as referee Sonny Myers tries effortlessly to control them.

End: Slinker knocks out Snyder with a nasty looking superkick and rolls him for the win to advance in the tournament @ 15:03.

Smith, Valentino, and Wilhoit give you some younger hands to work with. Friend, and his rep in Central states, will generate instant heel heat. Slinker targeting Snyder was real interesting. Could be a good rivalry. Rufus will be the crowd favorite for sure.

Great write-up for your first program. Lots of promise shown.

I do have plans for a rivalry with Slinker and Snyder. Rufus will indeed largely be the crowd favorite and top babyface.

A tournament is a good way to keep people tuning in each week to see how things progress.

Good start.

So this is likely to send me back to reading Mr. Friend's reminiscences/  Glad you noted Black Angus being dropped - I was not aware of the expansion of you and that Mid-West guy.

I like what we got here, the tournament is a good idea, if you draw it out, it can be done as any roster tweaks get done.

I enjoy educational stuff.  I am most UNfamiliar with Erwin Smith, and that Kevin Wahl/Wall I've been trying to pin down for a while.  Great seeing Slinker and clever setting him as rivalling Snyder!

Rufus is a solid draw, always great to have that coming out of the gate.  Real-life CS is one of my fave places just to scope old cards.

If you want Iowa venues, I have a 1992 era list handy, shoot me an email if interested.

Solid opening show. Tournament looks solid and I'll be happy to send off to you an old CSW hand on my roster in an old bulldog. Email me for a trade possibility.
