BUDDY LANDEL w/BOBBY HEENAN vs. IRON MIKE SHARPE
Sharpe comes out and controls the match from the beginning and really looks on his way to victory but makes the mistake of charging into the corner and Landel moves. Buddy now controls the match and does not give it up. In the end after dropping an elbow on sharpe, he gets him in a figure four and makes him submit.
 
WINNER: BUDDY LANDEL
 
ROCKY JOHNSON/BAD NEWS ALLEN vs. GEORGE THE ANIMAL STEELE/KILLER KHAN w/CAPT LOU ALBANO
Rocky and Allen really get the crowd going as they work over both mad men on the other team. They really turn their attention to working on Khan and getting him off his feet. Khan makes a comeback and he and Steele work over Allen in their corner not letting him tag out. Allen gets the crowd behind him and makes the hot tag to Rocky. Rocky comes in fired up and takes control giving both Khan and Steele lefts and rights. He settles on Khan as Allen and Steele tear up the ring side area brawling with the ref turning his attention to them. Rocky comes off with the top rope with a fist to the face of Khan and makes the cover, but Lou Albano nails him with a ringside chair and puts on Khan on top, the ref turns around and makes the pin.
 
WINNERS: GEORGE  STEELE AND KILLER KHAN
 
 
WWF TITLE MATCH:
DINO BRAVO vs. TED DIBIASE w/SKANDOR AKBAR
Dibiase brings down Akbar as his new manager because Akbar got the title match for him. Bravo wants at Akbar in the worst way but is taking out his anger on Ted. He controls the match from the beginning much to the delight of the crowd. But Ted shows how blood thirsty he is when he knocks Bravo from the ring and runs his head into the ring post opening a cut on Bravo’s head. The blood gets worse and Dibiase uses his black glove to pound away at the cut on his forehead. Bravo looks to be in trouble and Ted can sense the kill. Ted stomps on the fallen Bravo and goes for a two count. He keeps opening the cut and tries to end the match at every junction. Finally, Bravo makes his comeback he hits an atomic drop that sends Ted through the ropes and he follows. He and Ted brawl outside the ring and the ref cannot control them finally, he has no choice but to count out both men.
 
DOUBLE COUNT OUT
 
INTERMISSION: a rematch of the WWF title bout is announced for next months card.
 
WWF TAG TITLE MATCH:
TENRYU/SAITO w/SKANDOR AKBAR vs. KING TONGA/SD JONES
This match as well goes back and forth. Tonga really controls the match as he works over Saito, he goes maneuver after maneuver on him and gets a few two counts. He tags in SD who gets the crowd fired up and delivers some crushing moves. SD tries to get a few pins but only gets twos. Saito then takes over the match and wears down SD using marital arts moves. He tags in Tenryu who keeps the pressure on him. Finally, after a few more minutes of punishment Tenru hits a suplex on SD and gets the cover and the pin.
 
WINNERS and STILL TAG CHAMPS: TENRYU and SAITO
 
 
DAVID SAMMARTINO w/BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs. CURT HENNIG w/BOBBY HEENAN
Bruno wants is five minutes with Bobby at the end of the match, and Bobby wants to be the co host on All American. David and Curt are the foot soldiers in their plan. David comes out fast much to the delight of his father, he really has Curt on the run all over ring. David goes for quick counts like his dad wants but Curt always kicks out. Curt then capitalizes on David missing a splash off the second rope and takes control of the match. He works over the lower body of David and really turns on the pressure, Bruno keeps yelling encouragement but you can tell he is worried. Finally, after delivering a big body slam on David, Curt looks over at Bobby and smiles. He pulls David up by the hair and then delivers a piledriver on him. He makes the cover and David cannot kick out.  
Bobby and Curt celebrate in the ring as Bruno checks on his fallen son.
 
WINNER: CURT HENNIG
 
WWF IC TITLE MATCH:
 
PEDRO MORALES vs. DON MURCACO w/LOU ALBANO
Morales seems to be distracted by Albano from the start and it leads to Muraco take control early, he really turns it on as he wears down Morales with many crushing holds. Morales digs down deep and really uses the fan support to take back control but Albano pulls his leg as he heads into the ropes and distracts him. The ref sends Albano to the back as he caught the interference. This fires up Morales and he kicks it into another gear. He really delivers punishment to Muraco and after delivering a head but and a body slam he hits a big clothesline and gets the pin on Muraco.
 
WINNER and STILL IC CHAMP: PEDRO MORALES

I can't believe that Bad News will put up with Albano, Great match from Bravo and DiBiase. I am very interested to see how the Hennig/Heenan/Sammartinos struggle continues. Kinda surprised that Morales pulled it out.

Great card at MSG!  Can't wait to see the fallout from Bruno Jr. losing...Great match between Bravo & DiBiase...Excellent work!
