Broadcasted throughout the Carolinas, Virginias, parts of Tennessee and Ohio on the 24th and 25th of November Your referees for todays broadcast are Tommy Young, Stu Schwartz and Sonny Fargo Your Announcers for today broadcast are Bob Caudle and David Crockett Bob and David welcome the fans to this week’s episode of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. JJ Dillon and Paul Jones have joined them at the interview area. Bob asks about the cryptic interview that he gave last week. JJ says that there was nothing cryptic about it. He has decided to put all of his eggs in one basket. Paul smiles widely as JJ turns to speak to him. JJ says that he would not even think about putting eggs or anything else fragile with him. Dillon has poured good money after bad into Jones with no results. Allen is still limping around the area with the United States title. Jones tries to interrupt but Dillon will have none of it. Dillon says that he has no need of Jones’ services. Paul picks up Dillon by the lapels of his coat and tells Dillon what Jones thinks of him. As Jones takes Dillon to the ring and David gets excited, a sudden shock hits the arena. Dillon’s new charge enters the ring to help Dillon and it is HULK HOGAN. Hogan grabs the smaller Jones and flings him all over the ring. Dillon is directing traffic as Hogan hits three leg drops on Jones. Jones is dumped to the outside with Dillon cheering him on. Hogan has Jones up and delivers a PILEDRIVER on the concrete floor. Officials from the NWA and Mid Atlantic finally get Hogan and Dillon away from Jones. Crockett berates Dillon as he goes back to the locker room Hogan stops by the interview area and tells the fans in Mid Atlantic that he is here and Allen is next. COMMERICAL BREAK We come back to see Mid Atlantic Officials helping Jones onto a stretcher. Jim Crockett breaks away from the crowd as we see the stretcher go away. Crockett tells the fans that Jones has movement in his extremities but he will be going to the hospital. Dillon and Hogan will be fined $15,000 a piece for the actions and will be on probation for the next six months. We understand that sometimes you guys have to take care of things in the ring but they have taken it to far. Bob thanks Jim and goes to the ring for the opening contest on Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. Mid Atlantic Champion the Iron Sheik with Freddie Blassie versus Tracy Smothers While the Sheik is suplexing and stretching the young Smothers Caudle and Crockett are joined by the Hollywood Fashion Plate. Blassie tells the announcers and the audience that he emptied one of his many accounts in Hollywood to buy as many wrestlers contracts as he could. He bought the Sheik’s contract from Von Erich, who decided to take the money I gave him and retire. Blassie bought the contract of Kabuki from Spears who took that money and is sitting at the house. You see what Dillon spent his money on that I gave him for Tsuruta, and I have one more acquisition coming in a few weeks that could be one of the best big men I have ever seen. The next goal for him is to take the Mid Atlantic Six Man Trophy back and then knock off those dinosaurs that just won the the tag titles. With the amount of money that Freddie has put out, he will make sure that not only Mid Atlantic but everyone in wrestling will know about Blassie’s Stable. Amongst the ranting, raving and promising The Mid Atlantic Champion makes Tracy Smothers submit to the Camel Clutch. COMMERICAL BREAK with localized promos We come back to a voice over with a $100,000 check shown on the screen. It says that the first Hundred Thousand Dollar Challenge will be next week. Bob and David are with ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan and Mike Rotunda. They have heard all of the challenges laid out by Freddie Blassie. Mike and he along with the two men in the ring are willing to stand up against any of his men. The bigger that Blassie brings ‘em the better we like it. Duggan also points out that he hasn’t forgotten about the Sheik and that he still owes him one for Cincinnati. Bob throws it to the ring for the next contest. Brickhouse Brown and George Wells against Mike Boyette and Keith Larson These two African American Powerhouses throw Boyette and Larson around the ring. Wells ends the match with a crushing football tackle after an impressive gorilla press slam of Larson by Brown. Terry Allen comes out to ringside, worse for the wear, but still the United States Champion. Allen tells David that he is finding out what it is all about be the hunted but he would have it no other way. The United States title has such a tradition behind it and he is proud to be the champion of the people. He was sorry to see what happened to Paul Jones, but if you sleep with dogs you are going to get fleas. Allen tells the TV audience that Hogan might be bigger than him but no one has the heart that he does. That and the cheers of the fans will put him over the top every time, no matter what hurts or how bad the injury is. COMMERICAL BREAK Bob and David are back with Ray ‘Hercules’ Hernandez, who has been racking up a lot of victories. Hernandez is calling out Allen for the United States Title. He doesn’t care if Hogan is here, he has a better body than him and can do more in the ring. George Becker comes out and says that Hogan has an open contract for next week on TV and wonders if Hernandez will sign it. Ray says show him the paper and he will sign it as quickly as he can. Becker and Hernandez walk out of the interview area as they go to the ring for the next contest. Al Snow versus Joel Deaton Snow has a competitive match against Deaton but pulls out the victory in the end after a big delay suplex followed up by a second rope elbow. COMMERICAL BREAK with localized promos The Best of the Brits, Kendo Nagasaki and Johnny Saint, are with Bob and David as they come back. They will be in the next match and they are happy to say that they will be getting the next shot at the unified Tag Titles. Saint says that they can wrestle with a team in wrestling and Royal and Weaver are going to find out about that. Kendo Nagasaki and Johnny Saint versus Chris Hamrick and George Gulas Hamrick and Gulas try to go hold for hold against the Brits, which is a mistake. Saint and Nagasaki hit hard but wrestle clean and finish off Gulas after he trips over his own two feet as Nagasaki catches him with a chop to the throat. Bob and David tells the fans that if there has been a more action packed hour of wrestling they can’t remember it. Bob tells the fans that next week Hulk Hogan with JJ Dillon will face Hercules Hernandez and we will have the first $100,000 challenge. As well we will have the debut of a team that has been wrestling in Tennessee that has been making some noise, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. Bob thanks the fans for watching and tells the fans “So Long for Now!” ROLL CREDITS FADE TO BLACK
