**As some know, Cory and I had a recent death in our family that has thrown us loopy. I know I am behind almost two months, but here is a quick catch up. I will be back to what I can do this week. Thank you.** Stampede Happenings over the last month North American Heavyweight belt holder: Bret Hart Hart managed to keep the heavyweight belt from Leo Burke in a thrilling ladder match in the middle of October, sending Burke back to the end of the line as far as contenders. “The Canadian Lumberjack” Jos Leduc has made his way home and has attacked Bret Hart and made it known he wants the North American belt. The showdown is set for December 28th in Calgary. British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight belt Holder: “The Great” Gama Singh Singh has kept all contenders away from his title by hook or by crook, usually crook. Having defeated such names as Owen & Keith Hart, Johnny Smith, and Black Tiger, he is sitting on top as champion. Japanese legend and former world junior champion Tatsumi Fujinami has entered the territory and is looking for a showdown. Singh has been avoiding any and all contact with Fujinami. International Tag Team Belt Holders: Billy Two Eagles & Sonny Two Rivers The Sports Agents, having thought they made it through the Harts finally after injuring the arm of Bruce Hart. Breaking Hart’s arm, Hubert Gallant and Duke Myers thought they were sitting pretty until a match on November 23rd saw them take the Native Americans lightly. Using their speed and a well placed missile dropkick from Two Eagles to Gallant knocks out the champs and allows a pin and title change to take place. The Mercenaries as well as “Honky Tonk” Wayne Farris & “Rotten” Ron Starr have their sights set on those International tag belts. Other Goings Ons: Johnny & Davey Boy Smith continued their blood feud with The Mercenaries throughout October and November including a cage match that saw Johnny Smith get injured lacerating his head severely. Davey Boy has taken a leave in order to look after his brother but has vowed revenge. Jim Neidhart was shown the video that shows his manager JR Foley trash talking him. Grabbing Foley distracted Neidhart enough for former fellow Foley client Leo Burke to attack him. These two have been brawling all over the Stampede area with a loser leaves Stampede match coming for December 28th. Dynamite Kid and “The Belfast Bruiser” Dave Finlay have clashed repeatedly but a win has not been gotten by either man due to the matches never actually making it in to the ring to start. Bad blood has been spilled on both accounts and will continue to do so every time they see each other.
