-Ricky Rood talks about how hard it is to move from being a champion arm wrestler to being a professional wrestler.  He says he has tried to pick the brains of people like Bob Armstrong, Mr. Olympia, and Ron Fuller but, with them being so busy, they haven’t been able to help him much.

-The Freebirds, Gordy and Hayes, say the Samoans are tough, but they have beaten them as a team.  Tonight, they will beat them in singles matches.  They say the Grapplers are their overall goal.  From studio B, Sonny King says Afi and Samoa will show the Freebirds that they were lucky to beat his Samoans.  Tonight, the Samoans get their pay back.

TV Highlights (11/24/82)
Interviews:

-Bob Orton Jr., the Grapplers, Don Carson, and Sonny King say that tonight Bob Armstrong, Ron Fuller, and Mr. Olympia will see why they are all champions when they meet in a 6-man tonight in Birmingham.  Carson says that Armstrong may be going to the hospital where Brad was.  From studio B, Armstrong, Fuller, and Olympia say that tonight is the perfect chance for them to tip the balance of power in CCW in their favor.  Armstrong says that Brad will be back next week and he will save a little of the Grapplers for his son.

-The Freebirds say that since they have beaten the Samoans repeatedly, it’s time for them to tackle bigger fish.  Tonight at the Boutwell, Fuller and Golden will learn all about Freebird Fantasia.  From studio B, Fuller and Golden say it must be Freebird season and it’s time to shoot a couple down.

-US Jr. champ, Les Thornton, says he took Terry Taylor lightly last week, but he won’t make that mistake again.  Taylor responds from studio B by saying that he can wrestle Thornton hold for hold and the title is within his reach.

-Stan Frazier says he hopes everybody had a good Thanksgiving and that he wants everybody to be safe during the Christmas season.  He says that during the season, he will pass out toys and candy canes to all the kids at the matches because he has a little buddy at the North Pole that has asked him to help out.

The Freebirds as faces seems to work here. I like the Rood angle about learning from the wrong guys. Ron Fuller gets his hat firmly in the ring with the six man pin. Taylor and Thornton looks to be a good rivalry.

Good stuff, Anna.

2 really good TV's and houses...Taylor/Thornton was really good IRL and should be just as good here...Can't wait for Brad to come back to team with Bob against The Grapplers...Love the Freebirds here...I wonder what Olympia means by taking something from Fuller/Golden?  Ron solidifies himself as the #1 contender with the pin of Orton...Rood with Fuller/Golden is bad news...Great work Anna!

A double-double!  Good stuff, like seeing the progress for Taylor & Rood and the Freebirds playing their role.  A good stretch for Tank Patton, good guy to keep relevant here, solidifies the pecking order IMO.

Biggest surprise was a tights-pull on Drazier, or should I assume overalls?

Very nice work here, the fans would be very much enjoying things.
