Nov 28th, 2012, 8:19pm

WWF Wrestling
Baltimore Arena
Baltimore, MD
11/17/82

DON MURACO w/LOU ALBANO Def. IRON MIKE SHARPE
This is back and forth but Muraco takes advantage and finishes him off with a tombstone piledriver for the win.

TED DIBIASE w/SKANDAR AKBAR Def. TITO SANTANA
Ted is ruthless in how he demolishes young tito, he does not let up and even after tito gets a few offensive move, Ted comes back with more pain. In the end, he hits a black gloved fist off the second rope for the win.

KING TONGA Def. SD JONES
Tonga shows why he is the stronger part of this former team, he dominates this match and really turns up the intensity against his former friend. He will not let up and uses the tongan death grip to wear him down. Finally, he hits a bodyslam and then a super fly leap off the top rope to end the match.

BUDDY LANDEL/CURT HENNIG w/BOBBY HEENAN DEF. SAMMARTINOS
Bruno starts match off great working over both men on Heenan’s team. He really puts both men on the defensive and looks like the match will be theres, but once he tags in David it goes the other way. David is double teamed by both men and kept from tagging in his father. Finally, after more punishment is heaped on him, Landel puts him in the figure four leg lock, while Hennig and later Heenan keep Bruno distracted. David has no choice but to submit.

After the match, Bruno is trying to coach his son but David is dejected.

WWF TAG TITLE MATCH:

TENRYU/SAITO w/SKANDOR AKBAR vs. TONY GAREA/RICK MARTEL
Akbar’s guys come out and control the match early on, they tag in and out as they work over Martel and keep him in their corner. They will not let up as they get numerous two counts on him. The crowd wants Martel to get to his corner but he is intercepted each time. Finally, after ducking under a double clothesline he makes a clothesline of his own and makes the hot tag. Garea comes in and cleans house after working over both men. He settles on Tenryu while Saito slugs it out with Martel. Martel and Saito fight out on the floor while the ref tries to break them up. Tenryu has Garea by the arms and brings him over to the ring apron. Akbar gets up on the apron and unleashes a fireball, Garea moves and it hits Tenryu in the face making him fall to the ground. Garea makes the cover and gets the pin as the ref turns around.

After the match, Saito and Akbar tend to Tenryu as Martel and Garea celebrate their tag title win.

INTERMISSION to set up Cage for Main Event

CAGE MATCH:
ROCKY JOHNSON vs. KILLER KHAN w/LOU ALBANO

Rocky has been waiting for this for months as he has never beaten Khan without someone interfering and jumping him. He tears into Khan and works him over from the opening bell. He works him over and smashes his head into the cage. But Khan is not going quietly, he really works over Rocky and runs his face into the mesh making him bleed almost right away. Rocky looks hurt and Khan looks to be going in for the kill. He slams Rocky to the mat and tries to hit the knee off the second rope but Rocky moves out of the way. Rocky has his stamina back and really turns it up a notch as he batters Khan all over the ring and smashes his head into cage again and again. He hits a suplex and then a body slam on him. He gets the crowd going as he dances in the ring. He then starts with the lefts and rights, he works over Khan like he is doing a speed bad in a gym. Finally, he gives him a big right and climbs to the top of the ropes and comes off with a huge right that sends Khan to the canvas. He makes the cover and then gets the pin.

After the match, Rocky climbs to the top of the cage to acknowledge the fans.

Great card from top to bottom...Congrats to Garea/Martel...Sharpe did better than I thought, Muraco proved he is the better man...DiBiase won surprisingly easily...SD was lucky to survive...Bruno Jr. may need a new coach...Rocky finally gets a fair shake and comes out victorious...Great job!

Boy, the last two matches didn't go the way I thought they would. An, that's why you play the games. Great win by Garea and Martel. if I was thinking about having Akbar in my corner, that fireball would be in the back of my mind. Johnson winning was awesome! I just thought that, with family being there, that is Khan beating to Rocky was coming. DiBiase is rising in a good, slow way. Bruno just needs to realize better all that David is up against. Tonga is ready to step up.

Solid, well set-up card. Good stuff, PPK.
