What Happened?!

It's quite disheartening to visit this board and see the LACK of activity! I used to love hopping on here once a day (at least), and seeing everyone's wishilsts.

We are approximately eight months away from Fanfest and I can't wait!

Did the obvious void this summer seem to throw off your year?! I was talking to Dave (photo-op photographer), and we agreed that it didn't quite feel like a complete summer.

Let's get this board back to the way it was. I miss all you crazy Fanfest-aholics!

Thanks, Dan. I'm as much to blame as anyone for the lack of posting here. However, I am working hard on next year's weekend and will have some news to share soon on several fronts. Several new things added to the lineup for next year. As most of you know, it's usually springtime before most of the guests begin confirming their appearances. I'll have a couple of the mainstays by the end of this month.

I stay excited about fanfest year-round, but I know that doesn't translate to others. Those of you that have liked our Facebook page (http://www.Facebook.com/MidAtlanticLegends) or follow us on Twitter (@NWALegends,) know that fanfest is always on my mind. But apparently now that doesn't translate to Eddie

And that's fine. But hang in there. I'll try to post more regularly here in the future. Happy holidays to all of you!

I'm always looking forward to Fanfest. I'm always thinking of who I'd like to see - which new guests, which repeat guests, who I'd like to see that will probably never be there because they're "too local" or just don't make appearances, etc. It's usually somewhat at the back of mind until announcements start coming in, then the floodgates open. I'm sure I'll be posting a wishlist soon.

im just going thru a very differcult time i really missed fanfest 2012 i have been bummed ever sence i may overload my mouth but i really cant wait for fanfest 2013 and i hope theres plenty more i have a very differcult time with this part of year as i just want things to hurry up and names get posted and i really will get excited all you have to do is put 1 name up and im ready

i miss the forum where we posted about wrestlers deaths. that was the one centralized place i could goto find out and discuss the latest loss. now, there is no set place for that to post or to read about the latest news.
when traffic was slow here, that seemed to be a place that kept me coming back here.
not meaning to sound morbid, but...
i have never been one to start topics but i am one to join in and run with it at times. so if no one ever starts talking, i really have nothing to add.

Matter of fact, I was just discussing my vacation plans for 2013. As of January 1st, I'll be submitting my request for Fanfest Weekend.

Then, after only a week or so to unwind, it's off to the beach. August 2013 is shaping up to be pretty busy!

It's my favorite time of the year as a fan, and the fact that we haven't had one since 2011, makes me even more excited about the prospects for 2013. I miss the wrestlers and friends.
