MERCER: Welcome to World Class Championsip Wrestling. What a great hour of professional wrestling action! You’ll see Iceman Parsons wrestle the Golden Boy, Chick Donovan! Ivan Koloff, the Russian Bear makes his World Class debut! Chris Adams , the number one contender to the World Junior Heavyweight Title will face the Mongolian, Killer Khan! The World Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes will take on Johnny Rich in a non-title match! And in the Main Event Kerry & Kevin Von Erich wrestle Sgt. Slaughter and his top recruit, Don Kernodle. The Von Erichs will put up the Texas Tag Team belts against the $5,000 Cobra Clutch Challenge prize that Slaughter owes Kevin Von Erich! But right now, Mark Lowrance is standing by in the ring with the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Chavo Guerrero and Mr. JR.
 
LOWRANCE: I am here with Chavo and Mr. JR. What is the connection between you two?
 
CHAVO: We are both having a love affair with money, Mark! He loves it even more than I do! I have a couple of problems. One of them is an Englishman named Chris Adams, the other a Scotsman named Scott McGhee. The NWA is saying that these two are the top contenders to this World Title! So, I called Mr. JR and told him about my little problem and how I would be willing not to put up a bounty, but a cash incentive if my problems could be handled. That’s why the Moondogs suddenly got interested in beating up British wrestlers. That’s why the only real Killer, Killer Khan is taking on Chris Adams today, Mark!
 
JR: That’s right, Chavo! You got the money, I got the muscle! After my man Khan gets through with Adams today, you won’t have to worry about him no more!  
 
LOWRANCE: I’m disappointed in you, Chavo!
 
CHAVO: I won’t lose a minute’s sleep worried about your disappointment, Lowarnce. As long as I’m World Champion and the big bucks keep rolling in!

Ivan Koloff(w/Nikolai Volkoff) debuts against Terry Gibbs. The Russians bring a huge Soviet flag into the ring and the Texas fans nearly raise the roof with a “USA” chant! Koloff gets Gibbs’ best shot, but the Russian Bear picks up a nice win after a kneedrop off of the middle turnbuckle.

Chris Adams takes on Killer Khan (w/ Mr. JR & Chavo Guerrero). Adams uses his speed and skill to keep Khan off balance early. However, Chavo ‘s interference ends up leading to a Khan victory! After the bout, Chavo climbs into the ring and taunts Adams and the Junior Heavy champ gets a superkick for his trouble!

NWA World Champion Dusty Rhodes takes on Johnny Rich in a non-title match. David Von Erich takes a seat at ringside and watches what turns out to be a very good bout. Rich manages several near falls, but Dusty turns out to be too much as he gets the win by submission with the figure four leglock. After the match, Von Erich and Rhodes have a staredown.

MERCER: Next week, another great program here on World Class Championship Wrestling….Chavo Guerrreo faces Scott McGhee in a non-title match! Scott Casey takes on Don Kernodle….The Midnight Express meet Chris Adams and Iceman Parsons and what a GREAT six man tag team match with Kerry and Kevin Von Erich teaming up with Killer Tim Brooks to take on Moondogs Spot & Rex and Killer Khan! Right now, it’s time for our Main Event!
 
MAIN EVENT:  
 
The Texas Titles of Kerry & Kevin Von Erich are on the line against the $5,000.00 of Sgt. Slaughter and Don Kernodle! Most of the match sees Slaughter and Kernodle isolate Kevin and dish out quite a beating to the eldest Von Erich brother. Kevin finallyleaps across the ring, makes a hot tag to Kerry and collapses as the Modern Day Warrior comes in and cleans house! Finally, the two on one odds are too much and Slaughter and Kernodle beat Kerry down.Now what’s Kernodle doing? Kernodle has scissors and they are trying to cut Kerry’s hair! Finally, David Von Erich and Scott Casey run in and make the save! What a wild scene here today!

The Von Erichs and Slaughter/Kernodle are one of the fantasy wrestling matchups that are so interesting. You know the Metroplex fans would love this one. I'm glad that Lowrence knew who the huge Oriental was in 1982. Khan vs. Adams would have been very good. Keep up the good work!

Loved the remark about Chavo not losing any sleep. Great move by Adams superkicking Guerrero. I am digging Rhodes playing heel against the Von Erichs. Kernodle has to be loco wanting to cut Kerry's hair. Great stuff.
