Dos Caras defeated Black Gordman in 18 minutes with a German suplex. Caras set up the pin with a flying cross bodyblock in a fast-paced match.

Col. Buck Robley & Gene Lewis defeated Rick McGraw & Ken Mantell in 14 minutes when Robley pinned Mantell after a loaded elbowdrop. Lewis distracted the ref so Robley could load his armpad, then cut off McGraw's save.

World Television Champion Billy Robinson defeated "Crippler" Ray Stevens in 22 minutes of a non-title match with an abdominal stretch into a cradle. Stevens started strong early in the match with a piledriver, but missed the follow-up flying kneedrop to stop his momentum.

King Kong Bundy (with the Grand Wizard) defeated United States Heavyweight Champion Pat Patterson in 13 minutes with a powerslam to win the title. Patterson started out well with hit-and-run tactics, but eventually the match turned into a slugfest, which was Patterson's undoing. Bundy delivered two avalanches, then scooped him up for the powerslam.

Bugsy McGraw defeated "Crazy" Luke Graham (with the Grand Wizard) in 6 minutes of a no-disqualification match, getting the pin after several chairshots. Graham brought a wheelbarrow full of foreign objects to the ring, including an actual kitchen sink. Both men used weapons immediately. Graham ended up tied up in the ropes, and McGraw dented a chair over his head.

Good stuff & great to get back in the swing of your stories.  The Bugsy/Luke and Robinson/Stevens have been real pleasers.

On the "new" side, congrats to Bundy and that McGraw/Mantell vs. Robley/Lewis match could have been a dandy "show stealer" - no slouches there!  Hope the catching up continues with this quality.

The big man Bundy is going to be hard to topple, literally, for that belt. Seeing both Stevens and patterson lose in the Cow Palace must have been a sight. The Caras-Gordman match was a great opener.

Hope this kind of stuff continues.
