Announcer: Ed Whalen, Jim Davies (ring Announcer) Referees: Cedric Hathaway, Wayne Hart, Jurgen Himmler, Ross Hart, Ron Hayter **The opening plays, showing several Stampede stars of past and present, in action in short clips. We then join Ed Whalen sitting at the announcer's table at ringside. Ed Whalen says he is happy to be back for another week in Stampede Wrestling and what a week of action. It is going to be a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy of a show. ** / 1. Dave “Fit” Finlay b. The Cobra with a tombstone piledriver Finlay grabs the mic from Whalen, calling out Dynamite Kid. He says they have fought before but nothing was settled. He orders DK to get his butt out there and settle it. DK runs out and the fight is on between the two. The Mercenaries b. Mike Shaw and Bobby Bold Eagle with a sleeper from Martin on Bold Eagle Davey Boy Smith makes his return to Stampede. He tells Ed Whalen that his brother Johnny is close to 100% and when he is, the Mercenaries have hell to play for injuring him. Whalen asks him when he is returning to the ring and Smith tells him next week. As a matter of fact, he wants an exhibition match against anyone from the locker room. He has some rust but wants to prove he can still get it done. Ed Whalen reminds him there are quite a few people who would not mind getting their hands on a man who is staple of the British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight division and Smith says he knows and that is what he likes. In order to fight, not wrestle, but fight the Mercenaries he needs to learn how to get to their level. When his brother comes back, there will be hell to pay, Mercenaries. Hell to pay. / 3.Atushi Onita and Black Tiger wrestle to a time limit draw The North American heavyweight belt holder, Bret Hart joins Ed Whalen. He tells Whalen after ending that family feud between Leo Burke & himself, he finds himself thrust right in to the path of an oncoming locomotive. He says Jos Leduc is insane. He has not been all there since before he started wrestling. Hart heard stories about LeDuc from the logging cabins. But one thing LeDuc has forgotten is the Hart family are tough too. If the locomotive wants to become a train wreck, then he can just come do it. Bret Hart says he has faced bigger and badder and this will be no different. Non-Title Match: The Great Gama Singh b. Billy Two Eagles when Singh distracts the referee and “Honky Tonk” Wayne and Ron Starr attack laying out Two Eagles busting him open. British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight belt holder “The Great” Gama Singh joins Ed Whalen. He tells Whalen that out of the goodness of his heart, he has decided that Tatsumi Fujinami will get a shot at his British Commonwealth title. Even though Fujinami is not worthy, not even a contender, he will get a shot at the belt. Ed Whalen reminds Singh that Fujinami is a former world junior champion and Singh says not of any organization that matters or any organization that Singh would recognize. But it is the hoiliday season and Fujinami gets his present, that being a shot at the British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight title. Singh says that under no circumstances wll Fujinami find it an easy win because Singh has been holding this belt for along, long time and will continue to hold it for a long, long, long time. / 5. Jos Leduc b. Gerry Morrow with a bear hug. After it ends, LeDuc stalks around ringside yelling “Where or where is Bret Hart?” / / Ending the show with a fade off to Ed Whalen saying “In the meantime….and in between time...that’s it…for another edition…of Stampede wrestling…Bye now”. . .
