-      Before Gordon can begin the rundown for the Christmas Night Extravaganza in the Fort Hesterly Armory in Tampa, he is joined by the former Florida Heavyweight Champion Kevin Sullivan, who throws out a challenge to none other than Jake Roberts. “Jake, you are running from the wrong man. You think the One Man Gang is the creature that will end your time in Florida. No, because he is only an agent of destruction. I will drag you out of Florida. But throwing a snake like you to the sharks will only add to their appetite for destruction. And while you may look at me as a beast with no bite, I promise you that Abuddah Dien will give me the power to take a bit out of you.”
 
-      Professor Boris Malenko, with his sons in tow, tells Buddy that they are finished playing games with the Young Lions. “Last week, fans saw something that rarely happens. They saw the Malenko family surprised in a wrestling ring. My boys took a standby match and didn’t think they would be facing much competition. Well Regal and Huber pulled a fast one on them. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN! You punks think that you can make fools of the Great Malenkos? Oh no. You two talk like you have the training to be the best young tag team in this sport? I know the men who trained you and there is a reason Wilber Snyder and Dick the Bruiser haven’t wrestled in Florida in almost 15 years; they knew they would lose to me. Now I’ve trained my sons to be champions, which they were and shall be again. You clowns will only serve as a warm up for the reemergence of the Malenkos as wrestling royalty. My sons are princes of the squared circle. They will demonstrate what happens to jesters like you.”
 
-      “The Canadian Bruiser” Bob Sweetan tells Barbara that the fans started to see the real Butch Reed last week. “They heard a cocky, loud mouth, mule’s back end last week. Butch Reed thinks he is the best thing going in a wrestling ring and will walk out of Florida when he’s handed the World Championship on popularity alone. Well I have news for you Reed. This isn’t a popularity contest. Its professional wrestling. You either stand tall and win or you get beat on and lose. And I plan on doing a lot of beating on you Tuesday night in the Tampa Armory.”
 
-      Florida Tag Team Champions Mike George and Jesse Barr tell Buddy that they have proven that man on man they can beat Mike Graham and Brian Blair. “Look back at what we’ve done in the last week Mr. Colt. Mike fought that arrogant fool Graham 4 nights in a row and walked out each night in better shape than he left. I put so many bruises on Brian Blair that you can play connect the black and blue dots. Now, they still think they deserve a shot at our Florida Tag Titles? Sure, we’ll face them one more time. One last time. Because after Christmas night in Tampa, I hope you and Brian will have a bag packed because Graham, you’ll have been embarrassed so badly you won’t be able to show your face in this state for a year.”
 
-      Former World Heavyweight Champion Greg Valentine tells Gordon that he is counting on Barry Windham regretting his decision next Wednesday morning.”60 minutes. That’s the measure of a wrestling champion Gordon. How many nights have you sat by the ring and seen Dory Funk, Jack Briscoe, Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, myself, go the full measure of a professional wrestling champion? 50 times? 100 times? Try 300 times has the NWA World Champion come to Florida, scheduled to wrestle an hour time limit. In the history of this organization that is the measure of a man. And to prove he is worthy of being a champion, those matches were best of three falls. One fall, a man can get lucky. But to beat the best 2 times in 3, within an hour shows you have what it takes to be the best. And I have that ability Gordon. I traveled 8 months up and down the highways, hotels and flights and bad food and in arenas from high school gyms to big halls. I am one of the best in the world. Barry Windham would like to think he is ready to step onto that stage. But I have news for you Windham. The stage for real championship contenders is very small. There may only be 3 or 4 real challengers to the title at any one time. And as long as your buddy Dusty Rhodes is World Heavyweight Champion, I know you just don’t have it in you to end his dream. I do. And before I end his dream, I’m going to end your fantasy of following in his footsteps. You can always be like your dad. He was a failure too.”

-      “Warlord” Jonathan Boyd defeats “Squire” Dave Taylor with a shot from his Doomsday Glove.
 
-      The Malenko brothers defeat Perro Aguayo and the Nightmare after Joe pinned the Nightmare after Aguayo jumped off the ring apron and watched his partner get pinned. After the match, the Nightmare caught Aguayo and started brawling with him, with wrestlers from the back having to pull the two apart.
 
-      Bob Sweetan defeats Pete Doherty with a pile driver.
 
-      In the fan’s choice main event, we see the One Man Gang defeat Jake Roberts via disqualification after the Missing Link attacked the OMG from behind. This brings out Kevin Sullivan and he evens the odds and the Link and Warlord Boyd battle it out with the Gang and the Devil himself.

Great TV here!  Fantastic interviews....Roberts/Sullivan will be one for the ages...Good to see the Malenkos regrouping...Sweetan/Reed is shaping up nicely...Blair/Graham need to train hard for their last shot...Valentine will be the true test for Windham...Great work!
