Show opens with the stars of the WWF going across the screen, we go to Vince Mcmahon and Bobby Heenan in front of a black curtain. They talk about tomorrow afternoon, at the Spectrum in Philly, Bruno vs. David Sammartino, Bobby loves to talk about how the Sammartinos are imploding right before our eyes, Vince does not believe it and thinks they will be fine. Bobby talks about how Big John Studd is on the program today and is taking the next step to face either Pedro or Bravo for the titles here in WWF.
 
Interviews on today’s program:
 
LOU ALBANO has George Steele with him and talks about what happens when George gets his hands on Rocky Johnson and tears him limb from limb tomorrow. Lou laughs as he talks and promises a lot of blood.
 
CURT HENNIG is with Bobby, he talks about how Ivan Putski is not worthy to face him and he wants everyone to see what  happens to him. He talks about facing Rocky Johnson today and will give him the same treatment he is going to give Putski.
 
DAVID SAMMARTINO talks about how facing his dad is something he needs to do for his own career, he wants his dad to respect him and after he wins he knows his dad will be on his side.
 
BRUNO talks about how David thinks that this match is going to help him focus he is mistaken, Bruno will beat David but at least then he has David’s word that he will focus more on his career and not make stupid mistakes.
 
DON MURACO and Lou Albano talk about Pedro Morales and the IC belt. Muraco has beaten everyone in front of him and now is the time to take things to the next level and win that gold. Albano predicts that Muraco will go into 1983 as the IC champ.
 
DINO BRAVO is with GAREA/MARTEL they talk about the big six man match, Bravo wants Dibiase to see how well Bravo works with others and how his team will walk out victorious.
 
PEDRO MORALES talks about how all his fans everywhere want him to shut the mouth of Don Muraco, he agrees and will do it at the Spectrum tomorrow.
 
SKANDOR AKBAR has Dibiase and Fuji/Saito with him, he talks about all the things that are going on and how his men have gold in their future, he promises changes coming and he will not rest until Devastation Inc. reign supreme in the WWF.
 
ROCKY JOHNSON is ready, he is ready for battle with Curt Hennig today, he is ready for George the Animal tomorrow, and he is ready to take the WWF by storm.
 
MATCHES today from AG HALL:
 
BUDDY LANDEL w/BOBBY HEENAN DEF. SD JONES
Jones works over Buddy in the beginning and gets a few two counts, but Buddy takes control and does not give it back, he works over SD and after wearing down his knee catches him in a figure four leg lock and makes him submit.
 
CHIEF JAY STRONGBOW DEF. EL SICODELLO
The Chief looks good as he gets on the war path and wears down the Mexican wrestler, he will not let up and in the end puts him to sleep with his sleeperhold.
 
 
Matches from HAMBURG ARENA:
 
BIG JOHN STUDD w/BOBBY HEENAN DEF. DOMINIC DENUCCI/FRANK DUSEK
 
All Studd as he works over both men, after hitting bodyslams on both guys, he drops an elbow on Denucci and makes the cover for the win.
 
 
ROCKY JOHNSON vs. CURT HENNIG w/BOBBY HEENAN
This is a back and forth match, Rocky starts out fast but Henning wears him down getting two counts along the way. The crowd gets behind Rocky and he makes his comeback on Curt, he nails him with his fists and even hits  a big clothesline. After Curt, uses some questionable tactics Rocky still makes another comeback and after hitting a fist off the top rope he makes the cover and gets the pin.
 
After the match, Bobby looks annoyed with Hennig’s loss.
 
Vince asks Bobby about that big loss going into the spectrum show and Bobby promises if Curt wants to remain a member of the Heenan family he will beat Putski tomorrow in Philly, Bobby promises that the Sammartinos will be torn apart and that there will be a new IC champ come next week. Vince hypes the show and then signs off.

Boy, Hennig is in a bad way here. Rocky's push just seems to keep rolling. Very interesting to see how Bruno seems heelish against David. Studd is impressive but can Dusek beat anybody? Seems like Landell is coming through as a winner for the Heenan Family.
