no doubt. it was a true honor to talk with him.  
Hawk was one of those guys i fondly remember from the IWA. i have no memories of his early run in the Mid-Atlantic area as it was really, more or less before my time.  
he helped defined this area for a generation. ask ANYBODY in their 60's or older and their very first names they mention are Johnny Weaver, Swede Hansen, and Rip Hawk.

Not quite in my 60's, Bobby, but you are right. Rip, Swede, and Gary Hart are back together again. RIP, Profile.
