**Sprach Zarathrustra plays the Pankrationist Statue rotates 360 degrees while Championship Wrestling is shown over it. The scene fades to Lance Russell & Dave Brown behind the announce desk. **

Russell:  Yeeeeeellllloooooowwww fans.  Boooooooooy have we had a big week this week.  Weeeeeee have a new Southern Champion and when we got here today, some more of these confounded bounty posters were waiting for us.  This time, they are for $10,000 if anyone can injure The King or win the International Title from him.  Here’s our old pal Davey to tell us all about it.

Brown:  That’s right Lance.  The Nature Boy, Ric Flair defeated The Universal Hearthrob, Austin Idol, Monday Night to become the new Southern Champion, but not without controversy.  We will hear from both Flair and Idol today.  We will have an update on Dutch Mantell today.  The Superstar, Bill Dundee, will be here to talk about that disgusting tar and feather incident last week.  Also, the tournament for the Southern Tag Team Titles will be this Monday Night at the Mid-South Coliseum.  We will see five teams that are entered in the tournament on today’s TV.  Wait, hold on…Lance has company.

Dundee:  Lancer, last week I was embarrassed out here by Jimmy Hart and his First family.  I dunno what purposed it served to tar and feather me, but hart ya done messed with the wrong man this time.  I asked Eddie Marlin for a match against any of your men and I got me a match against yer Memphis Spoiler.  Hart, I’m gonna beat yer Spoiler and go through the rest of yer men.  Eventually, I want you in the ring you little snake.  I am going to find a way to get to you and when I do, I am going to embarrass you worse than you embarrassed me.  (Dundee walks off).

Russell:  Boooooooy I’d hate to be Hart with the Superstar after me.  Let’s go to our first match.

Match 1
Fire & Flame def. Marvin Turner & Gary Royal when Fire gives Turner a shoulder breaker

Russell:  Joining me is the neeeeeewwww Southern Champion, Theeeeeee Naaaaaature Boy, Rrrrrrric Flair.  Ric, I guess congratulations are in order.

Flair:  Oh Lord it’s hard to be humble, when you’re perfect in every way!  Yes, Lance Russell, congratulations are in order.  Just look at me.  Suit, Armani.  Watch, Rolex.  Shoes, alligator.  And have you seen my new belt Lance?  Southern!  Haha.  I told everybody that I would take the Southern Title from that Ric Flair wannabe, Austin Idol.  It was only a matter…(Russell interrupts to show the VTR of the match).

Russell:  What did you hit him with right there?

Flair:  A hand and five fingers my man,  a hand and five fingers.  Now, where was I before I was so rudely interrupted?  Ah yes, I told you all that I would beat Idol and I did.  Now, I couldn’t help but notice that there is $10,000 floating around here to anybody who can take Lawler’s International Title.  Well, ten grand is pocket change for me, but that International Title is the stepping stone to the AWA World Title.  Everybody knows the AWA Title is my goal.  Now, I know I have to give Idol his rematch Monday Night, but there is a lot of time between now and the end of the year.  Lawler, watch your back, because The Nature Boy is flying high….Wooooooooooooo!

Russell:  Let’s take a look at a piece of tape sent in by the Dutchman.

Mantell:  (Sitting on a couch in his home, sunglasses covering a patch over his right eye).  Fans, first of all I want to thank you all for the outpouring of love you have shown me.  As you all can see, I am out of the hospital.  The patch is off of my left eye and I have about 50% vision in that eye, but it is very sensitive to light.  My right eye is not much better than it was, but the doctors have told me they are encouraged by how it responds when they check it.  I want to direct this to that painted up freak, Kendo Nagasaki.  I have asked Eddie Marlin for a match against you on New Year’s Eve.  All I need is one eye to take care of you punk.  Marlin hasn’t gotten back to me, but whether he ok’s it or not, I will find you and there will be hell to pay for what you did.  Get ready for the fight of your life Nagasaki!

Russell:  Iiiiiiiiii hope the Dutchman knows what he is doing.  I rrrrrrreeeeeally don’t think he should rush back so quick.  Heeeeeeyy, let’s go to our next match.

Match 2
Tommy & Eddie Gilbert def. Swede Hanson & Bill White when Eddie schoolboys White

Russell:  Heeeeeeeere comes The Wildfire!

Rich:  Lance, thankya for havin meet out here today.  As you can see by tha stitches in mah head, Buzz Sawyah and me have had some wars.  Last week, we rassled in a street fight.  Well, nothing was settled, so this week, Ah want a Texas death match with him.  We have ta settle this Lance and Ah think a Texas death match will do it.

Russell:  Tommy, explain to us again what the rules are for a Texas death match.

Rich:  Well Lance, falls don’t count.  It can be one or a hundred falls.  The first man who can’t answer tha bell loses.  There must be a winnah.  A lot of blood is gonna be spilled, but Ah bahlieve that this will settle everything.

Russell:  Weeeeeellll Tommy, good luck, that Mad Dog is one tough character.  Let’s go to the ring.

Match 3
The Fabulous Ones def. Mr. X 1 & 2 when Stan hits #1 with a reverse spin kick

Russell:  Hart, you and your First Family never cease to disgust me.  What kind of stunt was that you pulled on Bill Dundee last week?  Tar and feathers?  C’mon Jiiiiiimmmmmmy.

Hart:  Lance Russell, this is the greatest day of my life baby!  Last week Dundee found out that any friend of Lawler is an enemy of ours!  We just proved that Dundee is a chicken baby!  Feathers and all!  Hahahahahahaha.  Monday Night, my Memphis Spoiler here is going to take Dundee out for good.  Monday Night is going to be a historic night for the First Family.  Spoiler gets rid of Dundee.  Then, my Assassins are going to win the Southern Tag Team Title tournament.  And then, the coup of my life, The Macho Man will win the International Title and collect $10,000 for the Family!  And Russell, I just signed a man that is going to help the First Family dominate rasslin for years to come!  No hints baby, you will find out when he makes his debut!   Hahahahahaha the greatest day of my life!  Now watch my Assassins in action baby!

Match 4
The Assassins w/Jimmy Hart def. The Yellow Jackets when Assassin #1 makes Jacket #2 submit to the running hammerlock

Russell:  Heeeeeeeere comes the Universal Hearthrob, Austin Idol.  Austin, you had a rough night against Flair last Monday Night.

Idol:  Lance, you know I don’t have a problem with losing if it is fair and square.  Everybody saw Flair hit me with something that crossed my runnin lights Dahlin.  Well Flair, you may have won the battle, but the war isn’t over yet.  Monday Night I will do everything in my power to take you down and regain my Southern Title.  The prettiest man in wrestling needs to have a pretty belt like that around his gorgeous waist.  Ladies, don’t settle for that horse faced pretender when you can have the Universal Hearthrob.  Flair, I’m coming for you!

Russell:  Austin, weeeeee’re pulling for you.  Let’s go to the ring for our final match.

Match 5
The Dream Machine & Jimmy Valiant def. The Mad Russian & Black Bart when Kendo Nagasaki pulled Dream to the floor and beat him severely with a kendo stick, before valiant could save his partner.  Valiant helps Dream to the back.

Russell:  Heeeeeeere he is, The Kiiiiiiiing!  Jerry, the bounty on you has been doubled.  How do you handle being a target like that?

Lawler:  Well Lance, if you think about it, it kind of prepares me for being AWA World Champion because you are THE target in every match.  The difference of course is if someone just decides to intentionally hurt you.  That is not wrestling, but I’ve been through it before.  Back in the Summer, I went through Bockwinkel’s challenges and the guys he picked didn’t care if they beat me or hurt me.  So, this really is nothing new for me.  I just can’t believe that Wahoo would stoop to this level.  I only have two weeks left in order to win the AWA World Title or I will retire.  My final match against the Chief is Dec. 31st, if I can hold on to the International Title and stay healthy.  Things are really getting crazy around here.  That Nagasaki blinded Dutch and beat Dream with that stick.  Tommy and Buzz Sawyer are trying to kill each other.  Dundee getting tarred and feathered.   Austin and Flair are still trying to tear each other apart.  Never have I seen so much going on in the CWA at one time and it feels real good to be in the thick of things.  The next couple of weeks are going to be real, real interesting Lance.

Russell:  Ohhhhhhh yesssss indeed Jerry.  We can’t wait to see what happens next around here.  Heeeeeeyyyy, we are out of time.  Make sure you join us at the Coliseum Monday Night for the biiiiiiiiigggg Southern Tag Team tournament.  For my good friend Dave, this is Lance Russell saying see ya all next week.

Lots of great things going on in the CWA. I am really pulling for Dutch to get even with Kendo. The Assassins got ROBBED. Tommy and Buzz should hot. But I am really liking the feud between Austin Idol and Ric Flair.

The action is hot in the CWA. Flair's promo is vintage. Hart and that $10,000 could spell trouble for Lawler. Hope Dutch isn't coming back too quick. Flair and Idol looks to have a lot left.
