“Portland Wrestling” Sports Arena Portland, OR 12/29/12 Don Coss and Dutch Savage open the show from the Crow's Nest. Coss, “Partner, what a Christmas night in Seattle. You put on a great show.” Savage, “Thanks Don. Let's get right to it. Let's bring in the the “NEW” Northwest Tag Team Champions!” Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak, with the tag titles, arrive in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “Gentlemen, you did it.” BJ, “We did it! That's right! I want to thank Stan for all the help he's given me. I am so excited, we worked hard and it paid off.” Stasiak, “You have to out think Rose. He's smart. He's a coward, but you can't take him lightly. Billy and I waited, we got our chance, and now we're the Champions.” Coss, “That's great, but it's never easy being the Champions. Rose and Wiskoski will get rematches and now the Sheepherders are here. You have a lot of people chasing you now.” Stasiak, “We understand this. I've been a World Champion, when you have the gold, everyone wants it. We both love competition, and we're ready for anyone.” Coss, “This will start tonight. The new Champions will be in our first match, but in our main event, the New Zealand Sheepherders will take on Steve Pardee and Rocky Della Serra. The Sheepherders returned on Christmas night and picked up where they left off a few years ago. Let's get thing underway.” Match #1 Non-Title Match Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak (Northwest Tag Team Champions) def. Caveman Broda and Moondog Moretti, Stasiak w/Heart Punch vs. Broda “Playboy” Buddy Rose and the Army in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “With us are the Buddy Rose and the Army. Mr. Rose, a bad night in Seattle.” Rose, “Shut up Coss, and Savage, you keep your mouth shut too!” Savage, “Rose, you're not man enough to tell me to keep quiet! You whined and cried about wrestling Stasiak and Billy, and then you lost to them. I enjoyed that more than Christmas itself!” Coss, “O.K. Let's get to the issues at hand. You lost the tag team titles, the Assassin and Oliver lost to Snuka and Andre and now Snuka is in line for a Northwest Title shot.” Oliver, “I'll take this. Snuka, you've been crying, just like Billy Jack and Stasiak, you want a title shot, well O.K. I'm not ducking you! Let's get it signed!” Coss, “Well that's a change, a member of the Army wanting to put the title on the line.” Rose, “Shut up Coss! Oliver can beat Snuka any day of the week. Don Owen, get this match signed!” Coss, “I'm sure Don is on it as we speak. Hopefully we will know something before the end of the show. Now let's see the Assassin in action.” Match #2 The Assassin w/”Playboy” Buddy Rose def. Terry Adonis, w/Knee Drop Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “With us is Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka. Jimmy, you and Andre were victorious on Christmas night. You seem to have Rip Oliver's number. Now Oliver says he wants to wrestle you for the title. You can never trust Rose, or Oliver. They have to be up to something.” Sunka, “Bruddah, I want the title. If Oliver has enough guts to wrestle me, I'll take the title. Don Owen, get it signed.” Coss, “We'd love to see it, and we'd love to see in on TV. Don Owen is working on it, I am sure about that. Now let's see Jimmy in action.” Match #3 Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka def. Verne Seibert, w/Superfly Leap Dean Ho is in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “With us is the 'Happy Hawaiian' Dean Ho. Dean, you had a knock down, drag out match with Chris Colt ion Seattle, and now you have a rematch tonight with Mr. Colt. It will be a challenge.” Ho, “Colt is wild and crazy, but he is also tough. I was fortunate to beat him on Christmas, and I'd like to do convincingly tonight.” Coss, “Colt is unpredictable and unorthodox. He's not an easy guy to wrestle” Ho, “Wrestling isn't an easy game, we all know that. I want to teach Colt a lesson.” Coss, “Ho vs. Colt is next. Match #4 Dean Ho vs. Christopher Colt Colt is out for revenge. He jumps Ho before the bell. He slams the Hawaiian's head into the turnbuckle and then stomps away at Dean. Ho is able to recover and the match turns into a brawl. Referee Sandy Barr has no chance to control things. He calls for the bell and disqualifies both men. Result-Double Disqualification Coss, “Our main event is next.” Main Event, Two out of Three Falls The New Zealand Sheepherders vs. Steve Pardee and Rocky Della Serra First Fall-The popular team of Pardee and Della Serra have a tough task ahead of them. The Sheepherders are one of the most vicious teams in wrestling. The bell rings and Butch Miller starts against Pardee. The youngster from San Francisco comes out strong and Miller is confused. Williams tags in and the wilder of the two (I think!) goes to work on Pardee. The action continues is this manner until the Kiwis hit the Gutbuster against Pardee for the win. Winners-Sheepherders Don Owen joins Coss and Savage in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “Don Owen is with and he has a big announcement. Don, I know you have news about 'Portland Wrestling' in the coming weeks.” Owen, “Yes I do. Things have been going so well lately. The big show in Seattle was exciting and it was great to have Dusty Rhodes with us. His match with Race was great. I'm so glad that we could bring a match like that to the Northwest.” Coss, “About the TV shows.” Owen, “We have two exciting main events coming up. First of all, next week, we will have a rematch from tonight, Dean Ho will wrestle Christopher Colt, and then in two weeks, Rip Oliver has agreed to defend the Northwest Title against Jimmy Snuka, right here on TV.” Coss, “Wow! Snuka vs. Oliver, on TV! That is fantastic news. What a match! Now let's get back to tonight's main event.” Second Fall-The Sheepherders are at the vicious best. They work over Della Serra and refuse to stop. Miller is choking Rocky and referee Sandy Barr is counting. He reaches five and disqualifies the Sheepherders. They have taken it too far, and the match is even. Winners-Steve Pardee and Rocky Della Serra (Disqualification) Matt Borne is in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “With us is Matt Borne. Matt, things have been going very well for you. Your singles career is going great guns.” Borne, “I've had some good matches. The competition in the Northwest is the best there is, so I have to be ready every night.” Coss, “Well. We go to Eugene, Salem, Bellingham and Seaside this week. I know you have some matches signed with the Assassin and one with Wiskoski.” Borne, “Any chance I get to wrestle Rose and his men, I'm taking it.” Coss, “Get out and see Matt Borne and the the rest of the wrestlers in action this week.” Third Fall-The Sheepherders seem not to worry about the disqualification in the last fall. They continue to work over Della Serra and Pardee. They use the Gutbuster on Della Serra to take the third and deciding fall. Winners-Sheepherders Coss, “Thank you for joining us this week. Tune in next week as we kick off 1983.”
