Sir Oliver Humperdink is Barred from Ringside Billy "Superstar" Graham vs. Cowboy Ron Bass Bass stole Graham's Houston Oilers and Oakland Raiders rings on TV. In a pre-match slug fest, Graham gets them back and puts them on the announce table. That ends up being a bad mistake. Later, when the match looks bad for Bass, Kurt Von Hess comes out. He grabs the rings. He puts the Oilers ring on and passes the Raiders ring to Graham. Despite the warnings of McGowan, both men start to pund away at the right eye of Graham. The DQ bell rings @ 8:03. (M) The heels bail out with the rings, when Ted and Jerry Oates come out with chairs. Loser Must Wear A Wig for 30 Days Tony Atlas vs. "The Total Package" Paul Orndorff Orndorff brings out a rainbow wig and Atlas has a blonde Marilyn Monroe-type piece of headwear. Atlas keys in on the back of Orndorff while Atlas hurts the right arm. When Tony applies his sleeper finisher, he can't cinch down on it. Orndorff shifts his weight and rams Atlas into a corner. Unfortunately, Nick Patrick gets caught between the two and goes down, along with Atlas and Orndorff. The crowd roars in disgust, as a masked man comes in and spears Atlas when he gets up. The intruder drags Orndorff over and drapes his arm over Atlas. Patrick recovers and counts Atlas down @ 10:34. Mr. Wrestling II vs. Kareem Mohammad w/Sir Oliver Humperdink Humperdink is back in the corner of The House here. The crowd starts to chant "Candy", despite an announcement from II "not to do that". Any advantage Mohammad gets, like punishing the ribs of the masked man, is lost when Humperdink can't get him to focus through the chants. Kareem gets so upset that he doesn't realize that Wrestling II is suckering him into a charge into the corner. II ducks and catches the big man with the million dollar kneelift on the rebound @ 9:00. Piper holds onto the ropes when Scott telegraphs a dropkick. George comes up grabbing his neck. Piper bangs away, taunting Slater as he does so. Eventually, Slater gets fed-up with all this and slips down to the floor, where he laid his Georgia Heavyweight Title belt. He clobbers Piper with it when Roddy comes close on a criss cross. Scott makes the tag. He falls to the floor. Slater beats Piper from pillar to post for a good bit. Piper brought his golf club to ringside and Slater gets in some shots with it. Piper takes some powder out of his boot. He throws the powder into Slater's face. Scott has made his way up to the apron. McGowan is checking on him and doesn't see Piper's dirtywork. Piper poles Slater, who is busted open. He is down. Piper gets back in the ring and pulls Scott back in. McGowan tries to tell him to bring Slater back in. Piper just keeps slapping Scott. McGowan tries to be physical and Rowdy slaps him, too. Piper hits two piledrivers on Scott. McGowan calls for the bell @ 8:00. ruling this one a NO-CONTEST. Ladd, along with Humperdink helping by getting in some shots on the right shoulder, negates the use of the cobra, Ladd gets just a little over confident, though. Ladd whips Superstar into the ropes and sets for a football tackle. Superstar moves and Ladd gets caught in the ropes. The champ lets loose with a series of headbutts to the hand. Humperdink jumps on the apron and gets a butt for his trouble. Ladd frees himself and tries to use the thumb again. This time, he winces and grabs the hand in pain. Superstar leg sweeps Ladd off his feet and applies a stump puller. The hand is hurt more than the shoulder. Ladd taps the shoulder of Patrick. He surrenders here and has to leave GCW. The bell rings @ 13:04. (P) Humperdink is beside himself and looks toward Ladd. The NFL vet gives him a look that makes Sir Oliver think twice. Superstar walks down the aisle, title and masked personna still in his possession. ******INTERMISSION****** AWA World Heavyweight Championship Wahoo McDaniel (C) vs. Steve Olsonoski Wahoo comes to the ring and berates Olsonoski, telling him he is real lucky to get this shot. Wahoo usually only plays with the "big boys". Steve O matches the champ hold for hold, frustrating Wahoo. Finally, Wahoo charges and is caught by a leg lariat. He is driven face first into the turnbuckle. The Cheif rolls to the floor and sees his nose is bleeding. He gets back into the ring and wrestles a more respectful and aggressive style. This match goes back and forth. Olsonoski continues to use high impact moves, centering on Wahoo's face. Wahoo chops Steve O's chest beet red, hurting his breathing. Late, Olsonoski catches Wahoo with a powerslam. He goes to the middle rope for a double axe-handle. Wahoo rises, sets, and catches the challenger in mid-air. He drives him to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex. Wahoo hooks the far leg for the pin @ 20:02. Wahoo points to Olsonoski in respect, as he heads back down the aisle with the AWA belt. National Tag Team Title Belt Ole/Arn Anderson vs. Jack/Jerry Brisco (C) Arn taunts the hurting Jerry Brisco before the match. After some pleading by Jerry, Jack lets him start the match. He hurts Ole's right knee. Arn is able to hit Jerry in the head, eventually, aggravating the injury suffered at the hands of Jesse Ventura and Adrian Adonis. Arn runs the back of Jerry's head into all four ringposts. Then, he and Arn start in on the right arm. Jack comes in several times, only making the situation worse. Finally, Jerry ducks a flying body press by Arn and tumbles to the corner to tag Jack. Jerry lies face first on the apron for several minutes. Jack cleans house, throwing both men to the floor. Ole distracts Jack, allowing Arn to come in from the other side. He knees Jack in the back. Jack has some periods of success but being on his own wears him out. Jerry gets in a blind tag while Jack is with Arn. Arn pounds on Jerry, toying with him. How many times will Arn have to learn the hard way that you don't ever take a Brisco lightly? After grandstanding, he goes in for a gordbuster. Jerry has recevered enough to shift his weight and come down behind the younger Anderson. He hooks the shoulders for a backslide and a pin @ 27:03. After blocking off Ole, Jack pulls Jerry to safety. Ole and Arn have a look of frustration on their faces, as the PA announcer wishes the crowd "Happy Holidays". (C) GCW @ NWAClassics 1992
