Show opens with the stars of WWF going across the screen, we go to Vince Mcmahon and Bobby Heenan in front of a black curtain. They talk about the big card coming up at MSG and talk about today’s show. They will hear from David Sammartino and then in the main event he will battle Pedro Morales a friend of his father’s.
 
Interviews on the show today:
 
DINO BRAVO talks about how at MSG he will finally dispatch Ted Dibiase and get revenge for Rick Mcgraw, he promises Dibiase will go down to defeat.
 
DON MURACO and Lou Albano talk about how Pedro Morales is a sucker for punishment and after Don is done with him, he will have to go off to some alley and lick his wounds.
 
TED DIBIASE is with Arman Hussein and Skandor Akbar, Akbar talks about how Bravo is right for the picking and Ted needs to take this opportunity to grab the gold. Hussein knows that Bravo cannot beat Ted and he wants Ted to take it to him. Ted talks about how he has wanted this moment for a long time and he will walk out champion.
 
BOBBY HEENAN has Buddy Landell and Big John Studd with him, Heenan talks about how his big plans for the new year are coming up roses, he promises that both of these men standing with him will taste gold in the coming year.
 
ROCKY JOHNSON talks about facing  very dangerous opponent in Tenryu at MSG, he knows this man has been hurt and he will come back stronger than ever, Rocky is going to keep moving up the ladder towards the belt.
 
PEDRO MORALES talks about how he talked to his friend Bruno and that little punk David needs to be taught a lesson, right here on the program today David will not defeat him and he will get retribution for Bruno.
 
CHAVO GUERRERO talks about being back in the WWF and how at MSG he is going to face Buddy Landel who is a tough customer and with Heenan in his corner Chavo will have to be on top of his game.
 
DAVID SAMMARTINO is interviewd in an empty arena, he talks about how he has felt better in the last week than he has in years. Since he was little he lived in his father’s shadow. His father pushed and nothing was ever good enough, growing up kids came to the house just to be around his father but David just wanted his dad’s respect. His dad has derailed his career and now David is taking it back. He is no longer David Sammartino, just David, even when he started out he was forced to be Bruno Sammartino Jr, but never again, he is just David and he will do it all on his own.

CHAVO GUERRERO DEF. RENE GOULET
Chavo makes his comeback and really looks good, after working over Goulet for a few minutes he ends the match with a spinning toe hold.
 
DON MURACO w/LOU ALBANO DEF. SD JONES
The IC champ is on his game today and really makes Jones look bad. He does not let up on the punishment that he reaps on him and after a big clothesline, he catches him in the tombstone piledriver and ends the match.

TENRYU w/ARMAN HUSSEIN and SKANDOR AKBAR DEF. FRANK DUSEK
Devastation Inc is stronger with Tenryu back in the mix, both Hussein and Akbar look happy as he dismantles Dusek and really dishes out the punishment, after a few more minutes of working him over, he hits a spinebuster for the pin.
 
DAVID vs. PEDRO MORALES
 
Pedro comes out and wears David down from the start and really hits him hold for hold. David looks to be in trouble. David keeps fleeing the ring and gets the crowd on him about that, but all of a sudden he gets sadistic and really works over Pedro, his pent up anger controls the match and he is brutal in the amount of pain he causes Pedro, after a few more minutes of that he ends the match as he puts Pedro through the ropes to the outside and then uses a chair on him, earning a DQ.
 
Vince and Bobby cannot believe this is the same David, Bobby talks about how much respect he has for him now and Vince talks about when his dad gets his hands on him. They talk about next week’s card at MSG and all the big matches and then sign off.

Real good TV...Akbar/Hussein's comments sound almost like an ultimatum...Good set-up for Muraco/Morales rematch...Rocky should be able to handle Tenryu at this stage of his career...I wonder how Chavo will rebound after dropping the NWA World Jr. Title?  Ominous words and actions from young David, Heenan should adopt him (David Heenan sounds good)...Great stuff!
