Interviews:

-CCW champion, Bob Orton Jr. and Sonny King say that Mr. Olympia was lucky to last an hour with him last week.  They say Olympia will feel the sting of the superplex this week.  Olympia tells Orton to shine the CCW belt because it will be his tonight in Birmingham.

-New CCW tag team champs, Bob and Brad Armstrong, are congratulated by Thatcher.  Bob talks about how proud he is of Brad.  Brad says he still has a lot to learn, but teaming with his dad is the best learning experience.  The Grapplers and Don Carson say the Armstrongs got lucky in the cage and they will get the belts back tonight.

-New U.S. Jr. champ, Terry Taylor, says his feud with Thornton was a tough one and he expects Thornton to fight hard to regain the title.  Tonight he faces Mike Jackson and expects a good, clean match.  Jackson says that Taylor has the belt that once belonged to him and he is glad he gets a chance to win it back tonight.

-The Freebirds talk about how funny the Stud Stable looks in the wigs and headgear.  Hayes says he wants to see them without the wigs and headgear and say tonight he and Gordy will take them off.  Fuller and Golden insist that the wigs are their natural hair and the headgear is needed because they both have concussions.  Tonight the Freebirds will pay for their jokes and they still haven’t forgotten about Olympia.

-Ricky Rood brags about beating Brian Adidas last week in Birmingham.  He says that no one has as good a body as he does and that he will tear apart Adidas tonight in their rematch.  Adidas says Rood has gotten too big for his britches since becoming the Stud Stable’s lackey.  He says he won’t let Rood get the upper hand on him again.

-Ron Fuller says he is really looking forward to teaming with his good friend Stan Frazier tonight.  Frazier says he is ready to make an impact in CCW and tonight would be a great start.

Nice group of shows.

Rick Rood is doing well in this spot here with those opening match wins.  I'm sure the fans are looking for him and his cocky attitude to get knocked down a peg.

Love seeing Bob and Brad holding tag team gold together.  I hope the Freebirds realize that the belts are more important than friendship, and somehow kick off what I think could be an awesome feud.

Orton Jr. is still looking strong as champion.  I wonder who the next contender to his throne will be.

Plowboy turning on Fuller was a surprise, and I look forward to seeing Fuller take down the big man.

Always love seeing Carson and the Grapplers.

FUller and Golden in the wigs is great, but I fully expect to see vengeance from them for it all.

CCW is pretty good right now.

I was totally surprised at the actions of Frazier. if he stays focused, there is no telling what dam age he could do. The tag team situation in CCW is re-hot. The Freebirds are flying under the radar and that is dangerous. Orton, Jr. and King make one unbeatable team. Glad to see The Studd Stable get theirs. Rood is progressing nicely.

Good shows, Anna.

Really nice work on these shows...The Armstrongs make great Champions, but they have a ton of challengers...Taylor has the makings of a great Jr. Hvt. Champion...I too want to know why Frazier turned on Ron...How bad is Mr. Olympia hurt?  You have done a great job handling Rood...Fantastic work!

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!
