Simply not true, Eddie. You may be right as far as the Atlanta fanfest, but we've never had 10-15 guests announced 7 months ahead of time in Charlotte.
I appreciate your eagerness, and that of everyone. And know I'm working diligently to make this year's fanfest the best ever. But I beg your patience. We'll have some guest confirmations to reveal in the coming weeks and months, and I think you'll like what we have in store. But remember, in most cases, the WOW guests are going to come much later. Most of the bigger names won't commit this far in advance. I think we've covered all that before, but it's worth repeating in case anyone hadn't heard that from me before.
And frankly, there's a lot of shows and signings in the next 7 months. The only time I ever considered booking a BIG, BIG name this far in advance was several years ago. The guy was HOT off WWE TV and would've been a big want for a lot of folks. I wanted him. Fast forward three or four months, he'd done every spring and summer fanfest/signing around, and would've been just another guest by the time August rolled around. Great guy, but I'm glad I didn't book him.
I said all that to say that a lot of things can change in 7 months. The wrestling landscape can change a lot in 7 months. I want us to have THE VERY BEST show in August. I don't want a repeat of what everyone else will see in April, May and June. So please be patient with me. I promise, it'll be worth the wait!
