Bugsy McGraw & "Pistol" Pez Whatley defeated Black Gordman & Great Goliath in 13 minutes when Whatley pinned Gordman with a three-quarter nelson cradle.
"Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!" Whatley said. "It is so good to be here in California with my good buddy Bugsy McGraw! When he invited me to come here and become his tag team partner, I couldn't get here fast enough! We are gonna' get down!"
"Exotic" Adrian Street defeated Rick McGraw in 9 minutes with a cobra hold. Afterwards, he painted McGraw's face with lipstick and eyeliner.
"This place is disgusting, it really is," Street said. "You go from a fat, bald champion, to a short, fat, hairy champion. It's time for someone with some class to hold the United States championship. And since I'm the only one with any class in the PWF, I suppose it must be me."
A video promoting the impending debut of Bob Backlund was shown.
Col. Buck Robley defeated "Avalance" Buzz Tyler in 8 minutes with a piledriver. He delivered another piledriver postmatch.
During Robley's match, a taped message from Pat Patterson, still recovering in his home, was shown:
"Buck Robley, I'll admit you hurt me bad," Patterson said. "I suffered a serious concussion and a strained neck. That's the good news. The bad news, for you, is that you didn't put me out for longer! You didn't put me out for good!
"The annual Cow Palace battle royal is coming up at the end of the month, and I'm going to be there, Buck Robley! I'm going to be there, and you won't know when it will be, or where it will be, but I'm going to make you pay!"
