We are back at the studio & open at mid-ring where Norm Kimber is surrounded by Rip Hawk & his HOLLYWOOD BOMBSHELLS - Vic Rossitani & Buddy Roberts.  Buddy got the stick.
 
BR:  "Happy New Year - whatever THAT means to the knuckle-draggin' knobs around here.  What it's S'POSED to mean is ya take a look BACK an' plan ahead.  So, BOO HOO to losers like JERRY BROWN, just like YOU - he did NOTHIN' last year.  So, we figured he's good at NOTHIN', so he can do a WHOLLLE lot of it in 1983!"
 
RH:  "And RON RITCHIE proved what a chucklehead HE IS, he wasted his GOLDEN LADDER shot, in a loser-leaves-town match against a loser that WAS leavin' town!  And WE got LOTS to plan, startin' tonight, BOMBSHELLS go for the daily double!"
 
To the announce desk & Milt Avruskin with Sam Menacker.
 
MA:  "Welcome again to "Superstars of Wrestling" everyone!  Last week, Killer Kowalski had HIS two men in action & as Rip just said, both Hollywood Bombshells see action on this show".
 
SM:  "Meaning that we can wonder about the status of our other manager...if he is indeed, even officially managing Sheik Ali.  I'm speaking, of course, of our Human Torch - Beautiful Bruce.  As far as Hawk making a clean sweep - I like Buddy's chances against Mr. Michael W. Allen...the "W" stands for "Winless", we've discovered".
 
Match 1 Buddy Roberts w/ Rip Hawk vs. Michael W. Allen
One fall 10 minutes
 
MA:  "Vic Rossitani has a MUCH tougher opponent in Johnny Powers later so Rip has sent him to the back...Buddy having little trouble thus far..."
 
Did you blink?  It was a quickie - flying forearm by Buddy off the 2nd turnbuckle turns Allen inside out.
 
MA:  "Dick Beddoes has an interview with Gene Kiniski lined up but apparently we have another superstar..."
 
Cut to the interview area podium where BUCK ZUMHOFE has button-holed Beddoes.
 
DB:  "OK, OK, Buck - we DO have a minute, go ahead!"
 
BZH:  "Sorry, Dick but I better say this NOW!  I got JUMPED by two CONVICTS last week but I am 100% to face the TV champ today.  I am ALSO ticked about DENNY BROWN, I have offered to challenge him for his belt but I hear DON ARAKAWA has the next shot..."
 
DB:  "You can't fault Denny for THAT!"
 
BZH:  "Denny BEAT Arakawa to get the belt, he has NOT faced me!  HEY!!!"
 
Bowing Arakawa enters.
 
DA:  "But I BEAT YOU, Buck!  I was FINALIST, you are being very disrespectful..."
 
Dick signs off as these two are discussing their opposing viewpoints.
 
SM:  "I have it right here, Milt - on next week's show Brown & Arakawa have a title match!"

NOW Dick has his scheduled guest, the NWA Canadian Heavyweight champ Gene Kiniski, flanked by Moose Morowski & The Great Wojo.
 
GK:  "Dick, I think I can answer ALL the questions YOU or the FANS have!  I am a professional wrestler and I was a professional football star!  Dick, YOU are an acclaimed PROFESSIONAL writer, my great friend Moose Morowski is a pro, young Wojo wants to learn to be a true professional.  KOWALSKI, YOU are NOT behaving like a PROFESSIONAL!
 
"Did you SUGGEST I fight Miller?  Did you show ANY professional courtesy...NO OF COURSE NOT!  You tried to threaten me - to intimidate, to put young Wojo in a Catch-22!  MILLER, this makes you look bad, young man, you'll learn what the Kowalskis of the world are about...BUT you are a HELL of a wrestler, undefeated in the territory.  I'll be HAPPY to face you in Windsor this weekend WITHOUT some sort of attack on Wojo...THANKS, Dick...a wonderful interview as always!"
 
To the desk.  And we have a third member on hand at the announce desk - Joyce Grable, the NWA Canadian Women's champ.
 
MA:  "It is a real pleasure to have the champ sitting in - the talented, gracious & lovely Joyce Grable!"
 
JG:  "Thank you, Milt...and Mr. Menacker, I've heard SO much about YOU!  These here are two fine wrestlers and like I made a promise, there is going to be lots of action around my title".
 
SM:  "Hot & heavy action so to speak..."
 
Match 2 Donna Christanello vs. Leilani Kai
One fall 10 minutes
 
Milt ignores Sam's innuendo.
 
MA:  "This is a match-up of an experienced Donna and a young star from Hawaii, Leilani".
 
JG:  "Yes it is, they are both excellent wrestlers, but I am hearing a LOT of talk that Leilani is a...a henchWOMAN, I guess, for Moolah".
 
Kai is the Hawaiian but it is the Italian that's flyin' - usually with hair tugging involved.  Referee Danny Marsh gets a break...oh, Miss Kai puts hands on hips to offer her opinion.
 
JG:  "Nice job by the young man refereeing...as I was saying, Leilani and a gal named Judy Martin have formed a team called the "Glamour Girls" and supposedly, Moolah is backing them...as far as I'm concerned, it will be a frosty Friday before old Moolah gets another chance!  Like Gene Kiniski was saying, there is a PROFESSIONAL way of doing things!"
 
Donna fires some effective chops until cinched into an armwringer / legsweep.
 
MA:  "I know you do a lot of teaming with Wendi Richter, another young superstar..."
 
JG:  "When I'm not here, Milt, I'm likely on the road working with Wendi".
 
Sam gets a word in.
 
SM:  "Well, I COULD tell some first hand stories about the ladies, but you two are doing a fine job...I do agree, either one here makes an excellento opponent for Miss Grable in Windsor".
 
After some tussling on the mat, Kai puts on a figure-4, oh Marsh was taking a good look at the legs and misses Leilani using the ropes.
 
MA:  "There is something for you to make note of, Joyce - good luck in Windsor...coming up next is Ron Ritchie's TV title match with Buck Zumhofe...hang on, I'm getting word of a possible delay".

I have been getting all sorts of congratulations since beating Chavo Guerrero in Dallas on Christmas - so I'd like to offer MY congratulations to Denny Brown who recently won HIS title.  It is exciting being invited up to Canada right quick!  It sure makes me feel like a WORLD champion - an Englishman, living in Texas, beating a Mexican star and now, up to the colonies!"
 
MA:  "We'll let Chris Adams know we're NOT the Colonies, and actually resent the term..."
 
SM:  "Well, Lord Layton says it ALL the time...I see the challenger is headed out, NO radio or music?"
 
And NOT in a good mood!  Zumhofe gets the mic.
 
BZH:  "Last week, it was a CHAIN GANG, now Mr. Arakawa starts a fight in the locker room!  RON, this is BAD for you!  I am fed up and TICKED RIGHT OFF!"
 
With an apologetic air, Ritchie enters, but Buck IS hot!  As Ron passes the ring jacket out, Buck wrenches the TV strap from referee Wayne Cashman.
 
MA:  "No matter HOW mad Zumhofe is, this accomplishes NOTHING!  Oh, he whacks Ron again, now pushes Wayne Cashman..."
 
SM:  "Have we HAD a suspension in the first four months here, Milton?"
 
Buck has gone off, but Ron is fighting back!  By the time Johnny Powers and Ed Boulder are out - Buck has been THROWN out!
 
SM:  "No matter what I personally think of this heavy-metal beatnik hipster, he really blew his chance today and I am sure will be facing some form of discipline!"
 
COMMERCIAL 3 - In theaters now, TOUGH ENOUGH starring Dennis Quaid
 
As Powers was on hand, Norm gets some PRE-match comments.
 
NK:  "Johnny, Ron was able to get Zumhofe off of him before you needed to intervene, but there are some CRAZY things going on!"
 
JP:  "Yes, there are - not blowing my own horn, but I am STILL surprised that I found Jerry Valiant under The Strangler mask!  Now we have Kowalski making threats, some escapees from a Chain Gang, and I am pretty sure I know what I'll get from THESE THREE!"
 
Yes, the opposition faction enters.  Rossitani blessed by dual cornermen, as Buddy Roberts has a LOT to say to Powers!
 
Match 4 Johnny Powers vs. Vic Rossitani w/ Rip Hawk
One fall 10 minutes
 
MA:  "Johnny might have been ABOUT to confirm he has accepted the challenge from Jerry Valiant and those two will hook up again in Windsor in what is shaping up to be a superb card!"
 
Pretty even tie-ups thus far with VICKI chants and appropriate reactions from the mouthy Roberts and Rip.  Oh, Killer Kowalski is joining the announce team.
 
KK:  "I heard Kiniski trying to wriggle, to connive, to WEASEL out of what THE KILLERS have in mind..."
 
Proactive Powers dishes a back elbow to Roberts, knocking him off the apron.  He returns his efforts to Vic.
 
MA:  "The way I heard the NWA Canadian Heavyweight champ, he PLAINLY and CLEARLY accepted your man Miller's challenge...is there a problem with YOUR ears, Killer?"
 
Speaking of cauliflower ears, Johnny is grinding Vic's ears between his knees.
 
KK:  "Our plan included teaching a lesson to musclehead WOJO!  He accepted a match with Miller on  last week's show and Kiniski is not pulling the rug out from under that match...the management also is NOT going to talk us out of it".
 
Just as we see Kowalski's departure, we see Rossitani taking a powerbomb!  Powers sees Roberts & Hawk looking anxious and gets a quick hook of the legs & pin.
 
SM:  "Before Kowalski rudely interrupted me, Milton, I was going to ask about Jerry Valiant making appearances in a COMPETING promotion..at least, that's what the rumors are..."  
 
MA:  "According to Killer Kowalski, after the break, it will be The Great Wojo facing Mike "Killer" Miller".
 
COMMERCIAL 5  
 
Milt has a quick clip.
 
MA:  "Fans, due to inclement weather, this week's SUNshine Girl was unavailable.  Filling in admiraby was Joyce Grable!"
 
Clip shows Ms. Grable pulling a card that simply reads...

SM:  "Plenty of room on the card to fit "Sweet Daddy"...what IS UP with Mr. Irresistible, Milt?...Other than he's getting a chance to stop WHINING with this TV title opportunity!"
 
Wojo has entered solo, but Miller comes out with Killers Kowalski and Joe Nova!
 
Match 5 "Killer" Mike Miller w/ Killer Kowalski vs. The Great Wojo
One fall 10 minutes
 
Gene Kiniski & Moose Morowski are out to observe THE KILLERS in action.  As Wojo looks a bit rattled by Nova and KK looking very threatening...Gene dispatches Moose as cornerman.
 
MA:  "Of course, big Gene wants to get a last look at Miller before putting the belt at stake, but I am sure he is concerned about the well-being of young Wojo".
 
SM:  "That is the case, Kiniski earlier made it clear he preferred this match NOT take place.  We have the bell".
 
Wojo & Miller hook up, Morowski & Nova are establishing THEIR boundaries on the floor.
 
SM:  "Kiniski has a lot of trust & confidence in his old friend Morowski, oh holey moley!"
 
Wojo & Miller have laced fingers for a test of strength...Kowalski has taken a folding chair to ringside!  Miller has the back of one hand grazing the mat courtesy of the Polish powerhouse's rippling muscles - he rolls back & monkey-flips Wojo.
 
MA:  "Very fortunate that Moose FEARLESSLY grabbed the chair - Wojo's unprotected head was on the apron, VERY near Kowalski!"
 
Wrestling match for the furniture now has Nova and Moose struggling for it.  The wrestling match in the ring has Miller pulling on Wojo's legs - the leverage has pulled the throat across the bottom rope!  Referee Yorkston has leaned out to ask security to eject Moose & Nova.  Kowalski leans over Wojo with eye-gouging - NO!  Kiniski can't stand it!  He chases Kowalski off...turns to check on Nova and Moose...
 
Novs got the chair.  Now gives it to Gene.
 
Flattens the crew cut even more!  Miller targets the chest of Kiniski for a kneedrop off the apron.  Yorkston is waving this set-up OFF.
 
MA:  "Fans, that is ALL the time for "Superstars of Wrestling" this week - and KILLER MILLER has gotten the jump on our heavyweight champ!  DON'T FORGET, Miller & Kiniski in Windsor on Saturday!"
 
Fade to black as Wojo & Morowski shield the fallen champ.
