Don Coss and Dutch Savage open the show from the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “Fans, welcome to the 'House of Action'! We had a great show last week, but the main event left everyone wanting more. Jimmy Snuka had Rip Oliver beaten, but the rest of the Army jumped in and Oliver kept his title.”
Savage, “Rose and Wiskoski lost the ag titles and now they want to hold on to the Northwest Title, but I know Jimmy can win it. All he needs is a fair shot.”
Coss, “We're going to bring out Don Owen. Don has some things he wants to say.”
Owen joins them.
Coss, “Welcome Don, I know you have some things to say.”
Owen, “I do. You know I don't like to get involved with what happens in the ring, but I have to. The fans pay to see good matches and they want to see winners and losers. Buddy Rose and the rest of his guys keep sticking their noses into other matches and I've had enough. I'm going to start fining anyone who interferes in a match, and if that doesn't work, I'll start suspending people. This is going to stop.”
Coss, “I know the fans would like to see that. Remember, our main event tonight is Rose vs. Stan Stasiak, This match will be wild and who knows, someone may end up owing Don Owen some money.”
Match #1
Kevin Kelly def. Buck Ramstead, w/Bearhug
Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak are in the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “With me are the tag team champions. Gentlemen, you have defened the titles for several weeks, and it's been tough.”
BJ, “Rose and Wiskoski keep coming and we keep winning. It's not easy, but Stan and I are ready for anything.”
Coss, “You heard Don Owen earlier. He's tired of the interference and the attacks after matches. This has happened in matches with you two.”
Stasiak, “Talk to Rose. Billy and I will wrestle one on one, or two on two, we don't need interference.”
Coss, “Well Crusher, you meet Rose tonight and you know the Army will be around.”
Stasiak, “Like I said, I'll do this one on one, let's see if Rose will do the same.”
Coss, “Stasiak and Rose in our main event, now let's see Billy Jack in action.”
Match #2
Billy Jack def. Christopher Colt, w/Full Nelson
The New Zealand Sheepherders are in the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “With us are the New Zealand Sheepherders. Gentlemen, you continue to win and you are getting closer to a title shot.”
Miller, “Ohh bloody Don Coss, why do we have to wait for a title shot? We've been the Northwest Tag Team Champions before, we can beat Billy Jack and Stasiak, why don't they give us a chance?”
Williams, “Yea Cousin, we beat people here before and we'll do it again!”
Coss, “I know the Championship Committee has an eye on you. You certainly deserve title shot.”
Match #3
The New Zealand Sheepherders def. Pat McGinnis and Caveman Broda, w/Gutbuster vs. Broda
Matt Borne is in the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “With us is Matt Borne. Matt, you've had great success in recent weeks. You have show the fans in the area that you can compete with, and beat anyone in the area.”
Borne, “I just try to get better each time out. I want to meet the best, I want a match with Rose, with Oliver, with Wiskoski, I don't care. I know I can beat them all.”
Coss, “I know the fans would love to see you take on a member of the Army. Let's see Matt in action.”
Match #4
Matt Borne def. Terry Adonis, w/Stump Puller
Coss, “Stasiak vs. Rose is next.”
Main Event, Two out of Three Falls
Stan Stasiak vs. “Playboy” Buddy Rose
First Fall-Two Northwest mainstays do battle in this one. With all the interference that has been happening lately, referee Sandy Barr has his hands full. The early moments are a feeling out process. They lock up and Rose drives a knee to the midsection. Things begin to turn the “Playboy's” way. He works over Stasiak and uses the Billy Robinson backbreaker to win the first fall.
Winner-Buddy Rose
Kevin Kelly is with Coss and Savage.
Coss, “With us is the man they call 'Hercules'. Kevin Kelly has been very impressive, and in a short time, racked up a great won-loss record.”
Kelly, “Thank you Don. I've had some tough matches. People told me the competition was great and they were right. It's been a battle every night, and that's the way I want it.”
Coss, “Fans, get out to Salem, Bellingham, Eugene and the rest. Kevin Kelly is someone you will want to see in person.”
Second Fall-Stasiak has his back against the wall. He comes out firing. He takes the fight to Rose and the “Playboy” is in full retreat. Stasiak lands the Heart Punch and the match is all even.
Winner-Stan Stasiak
Coss and Savage are in the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “Dutch, the action in the Northwest is as hot as ever. You have Buddy Rose's Army, Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak, Rip Oliver, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, and many more.”
Savage, “I've been in this area for a while and this is the best talent we have had since the days of Lonnie Mayne, Bull Ramos and the others.”
Coss, “Don't forget the 'Dutchman' from West Virginia.”
Savage, “Yea, him too.”
Coss, “Fans, it's great to watch these stars on TV, but get out to the arena and see them live.”
Third Fall-This is a brawl from the opening bell. Both men slug it out and wrestling goes out the window. Suddenly the Assassin, Ed Wiskoski and Rip Oliver hit the ring and attack Stasiak. This brings Billy Jack and Jimmy Snuka into the ring to even the sides. The brawl heats up and wrestlers from the back pull them apart. Don Owen is in the ring. He takes the mike.
Owen, “Look, I don't get this involved very often, but everyone is tired of all this interference. If you guys want to fight it out, let's fight it out. On January 29 we have a 'Portland Special'. Rose, you and your guys have four men. Billy, Jimmy and Stan, you find one more guy and we'll have an eight man relay team match on the 29th and you guys can fight it out.”
Coss and Savage are in the Crow's Nest.
Coss, “Wow! An eight man tag team match!”
Savage. “It's going to be wild. Stan, Billy and Jimmy need to find a great partner and we have one heck of a match.”
Coss, “I know we will talk about it next week, don't miss it.”
