World Wide Sports in conjunction with the Major League of Professional Wrestling the American Wrestling Association brings you Midwest Championship Wrestling. Now here are your hosts Jack Reynolds and Terry Sullivan.

Jack and Terry welcome viewers and then run down the lineup for today’s show before sending us to a brief commercial break.

COMMERCIAL

Fred Curry is with Dennis Ashley when we return from break. Curry says that Jesse Ventura and Adrian Adonis retained their titles against Randy Scott and himself this week but the World Tag-Team Champions had a little help from Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. Curry says that he’s going after Graham, Jr. not only to get revenge for Graham’s sticking his nose where it didn’t belong but also to send Graham, Jr. out of MCW. The Doctor was out here a few weeks ago talking about he was going to use MCW as a stepping stone. MCW being Curry’s home territory that comment bothered him. MCW isn’t a stepping stone to anywhere. Curry would be glad to send Graham, Jr. out of here on the first Greyhound out of town. Fred holds up a handful of tickets and says that Graham, Jr. can have his pick he can go to Tampa to join uncle Eddie, he can go to NYC to join the Superstar, he can go to AZ to join his Dad or he can go to L.A. to join Crazy Luke but there’s no question about it Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr has got to go and Fred Curry’s going to be the one to take the TV title and send him on his way.

Dennis Ashley tells the viewers to call their families and friends and tell them to turn on MCW for a great Main Event between Fred Curry and Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. (MCW airs in most markets at 12:30 A.M. so those friends and family might not have been too happy to receive phone calls at that hour.)

1ST MATCH OF THE EVENING
Otto Von Heller destroys Ken Juggan. The big German angry over the situation with Nick Busick puts Juggan away in a mere 35 seconds.

Dennis Ashley interviews the winner of the match Otto Von Heller. The German is steaming as he talks about Nick Busick attempting to attack him last week. Von Heller backed down last week but he will be more than ready to crush the weak American Busick just like he crushed Juggan whenever and wherever the two men might meet.

Due to the brevity of the first match we have time for a second match before the next scheduled break.

2ND MATCH OF THE EVENING
The masked Dr. Death and Bruiser Banks managed by “Super Mouth” Dave Drason defeated the team of Aaron Hunter and Yaki Joe in impressive fashion. Hunter, who made a name for himself in Chattanooga, TN before being discovered by MCW talent scouts, and the veteran Indian got in some brief offense but nothing that ever put Drason’s squad in serious danger. Dr. Death pinned Joe following a shoulder breaker.

Dennis Ashley interviews the Super Mouth and his team. Drason hopes Bobby Colt, Don Kent and Richard Charland were watching because they are looking at the men who are going to rule Midwest Championship Wrestling.

COMMERCIAL

Cowboy Bobby Colt was victorious in a hard hitting contest with the double tough youngster Rocky Tom Stone. Stone who has received glowing praise from none other than the former World Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkle gave the Midwest Heavyweight Champion a handful but Colt was able to deliver the running bulldog to pick up the victory in this non-title match.
We’ll be back with our big Main Event.

Great promo from the home town hero Curry. Creative phone call reference. I am really looking forward to the Busick/Von Heller rivalry. Colt has really settled into his role as champ. Curry was robbed in the TV Title match. It did generate heat for Graham, so it is all good.

Red, you have some great stuff going here.
