COMMERCIAL

1ST MATCH OF THE EVENING
Nelson Royal and Ron Sexton defeated “Heartbreaker” Joe Cagle and Buddy Wayne. Sexton forces Cagle to submit to the Indian Death Lock.
Dennis Ashley interviews the winning team. Royal introduces his tag-team partner, Ron Sexton. Nellie praises Sexton’s accomplishments as an all-around athlete and as well as a being a top flight wrestler. Sexton is from Cincinnati and is happy to have this opportunity to wrestle here in his home territory. Nellie discusses his past problems with Don Kent and says things are far from settled. He’s going to take Don Kent down and he and his partner are going to do that by taking the Midwest Tag-Team titles from Murder Inc.

2ND MATCH OF THE EVENING
Otto Von Heller defeated Crusher Cortez

Von Heller had a much more difficult challenge this week than last week when he disposed of Ken Juggan in less than a minute. Cortez takes the fight to Von Heller and even comes close to locking in the flying hammerlock but Von Heller blocks it by grabbing the ropes. The German then catches Cortez with a back elbow on the break that drives the Crusher to his knees. Von Heller positions Cortez across the bottom rope and delivers the Guillotine legdrop which leads directly to the pin.
Dennis Ashley interviews Otto Von Heller. Von Heller is complaining about the lack of completion when Nick Busick comes walking in from the back. Von Heller claims that Busick is trying to ambush him and quickly heads out of the ring.

Dennis Ashley interviews Nick Busick. Busick says that he’ll chase Von Heller all over the Midwest if that’s what it takes to get him in the ring and prove that the USA and the American way is superior to the communists.

COMMERCIAL

Dennis Ashley interviews Tom Renesto. Renesto announces that the World Heavyweight Champion, Jerry “the King” Lawler, will be defending his title on January 29th in Cleveland. His challenger will be announced next week. Renesto talks about Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. Renesto doesn’t approve of the way that Graham won the title in the Battle Royal by hiding in the corner for most of the match and he definitely does approve of the way that Graham defended the title last week against Fred Curry by running and hiding until the time limit expired. So next week Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. will be defending the TV title in a Lumberjack Match. This way Graham won’t be able to run or hide.

This brings Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr to the ring. Graham, Jr. claims that Renesto can’t do this to him. Midwest Championship Wrestling is conspiring against him in an attempt to give the TV title to one of their fair hair boys. But Tom Renesto and everybody else around here are going to figure out that when they think they have all of the answers the Dr. changes the questions. You want a lumberjack match? Well, Graham, Jr. has his own personal lumberjack. With this Graham calls out the “Maniac” John Tolos. Now what is going to stop the Doctor from throwing Curry to the lion or in this case the Maniac and having Tolos do his worst against Curry before throwing him back in the ring for the Doctor to easily finish off. Tom Renesto has just signed Fred Curry’s death certificate.

Renesto comments that there is one thing stopping Tolos from being a lumberjack and that is that he has been banned from Midwest Championship Wrestling. With that Dr. Graham pulls a couple of papers out of his back pocket and hands them to Renesto.

Dr. Graham says that he doesn’t want the illiterate Renesto to be embarrassed by trying to read the documents out loud so he will tell the viewer’s what this is all about. On the first document Tom Renesto will find that Graham’s lawyers have had John Tolos reinstated. The second document is a contract for the World Heavyweight Championship match in Cleveland. This contract has been signed by both John Tolos and Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. and says that Jerry Lawler will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against John Tolos on the 29th in Cleveland.

Tom Renesto looks over the contracts and says that he doesn’t know how Graham, Jr. managed to do it but the documents are exactly what he says they are. Still Renesto believes that Fred Curry can defeat Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. now that he won’t be able to run and hide. And the King can take care of himself against John Tolos or anybody else.
Renesto leaves as the Maniac screams into the mic that you spell wrestling T-O-L-O-S.

We’ll be back with our big Main Event.

MAIN EVENT – non-title match
Murder Inc. (Don Kent/Richard Charland) managed by Eddie “the Brain” Creatchman defeated “Lightning” Larry Hamilton and Yaki Joe.
Hamilton gets an early advantage against the Bulldog but the tide turns quickly when Yaki Joe tags in. Murder Inc. viciously works over the Indian before Charland puts him away with the jumping piledriver.

Dennis Ashley interviews Murder Inc. The Brain heard Super Mouth out here last week talking about how Dr. Death and Bruiser Banks were going to defeat his team and now Nelson Royal comes out here making a lot of big promises. But his team is a well-oiled wrestling machine and there isn’t any team in MCW whether it’s Banks and Dr. Death, Royal and Sexton , Larry Hamilton and Charlie Cook, the new team of dandy’s (the TN. Stud) or any other team in professional wrestling that can defeat his boys.
Don Kent says that he spared Nelson Royal the last time and just sent him running out of here like the dog that he is. This time around Kent won’t be so nice. He will finish Nelson Royal’s career once and for all.

Jack Reynolds and Terry Sullivan run down the lineups for this week’s house shows one more time before signing off.

Jack Reynolds and Terry Sullivan run down the house show cards for Brown City, MI and Carleton, MI before signing off.

Gppd in ring action here.  I am detecting a pattern with Jerry Jr.  Good interaction with Renesto adds to things.  Drason's character should be fun as well.

Quite the obscure (to me) burgs you are using, which adds authenticity.  Dropping Lawler's name will stir things up.

Keep up the good work (have posted that trade).

This alliance between Tolos and Graham, Jr could be very entertaining. Interesting thinking with Heller complaining of an ambush. Royal and kent could be an old school barn burner. Curry just can't catch a break. Hamilton getting a nice push here.

Great shows.
