PWF/CCW releases Riki Choshu and Yoshiaki Yatsu. We sign Killer Karl Kox.

EDIT: I just read that Kox retired last year. Nevermind, I'll hold onto Choshu and Yatsu.

there are 2 Pete Sanchez's active in '83. Judging from BG's description of the Pete Sanchez who recently worked his promotion this Pistol Pete Sanchez is the one that worked L.A. - CCW and other area indies - and the AWA. The second - or the 1st since he's older - is the Pete Sanchez who worked WWF teaming with Manny Soto in the Flying Tigers tag-team. I'm thinking the Flying Tiger Pete Sanchez might be the guy that Josh claimed.

Well to make things as clear as MUD on Pete Sanchez - I was thinking I was using the beefier of the two who I believed reffed in the AWA on occasion and was the later of the two.  I gave up on the accuracy of the resources which seem to overlap the two.  IIRC, the WWF one started in the 50's and was a fair bit older.  I stake my professional reputation on it.

AND with the Killer Karl retirement date above-noted , is there any use of - when a guy heads back to FA - to note what retirement date you might have with three question marks?  I am going to add a guy in his final year AFAIK soon.

Did Alex retire when Kox retired? I'd like to see Alex get a run here.
Koxie's last listed match is 10/83. He went over Murdoch in San Antonio.

So Midwest releases Bobby Colt and claims Killer Karl Kox and Alex Wink
Do invisible people count as taking up roster spots?

WWA has a new heavyweight champion in Wilbur Snyder.

WWA ships off "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers to PNW for "Easy" Ed Wiskoski, who is then sent to Heartland for Greg Gagne. I also ship Mark Fleming to Stampede for Buddy Landel to finalize a trade deal and ship Landel off to Heartland for Jumbo Tsuruta & manager Johnny Valiant. WWA releases Izzy Slapowitz to make room for Johnny V.

In a trade that WWA could not pass up, I send SWCW manager Ron Wright for future considerations and a box of twinkies. With that manager spot open, WWA would like to tape up the formerly ripped up contract of Izzy Slapowitz and remind him to be in Chicago tonight, by 7:00 pm.

Southwest would like to add Pete Birkholtz as an announcer.  He called action along with Paul Boesch in Houston in the early 80s, and done some fill in work for JCP in the late 80's.
