Dr. Jerry Graham, Jr. accompanied Tolos to the ring and attempted to remain at ringside before he was sent to the back by Frenchy Bernard due to the fact that Graham doesn’t hold a manager’s liscense. The absence of Graham, Jr. seemed to rile the maniac even more than usual and he tore into Lawler mercilessly. In the closing minutes of the match it looked like Tolos was about to capture the World Heavyweight Championship as he had Lawler set up for a piledriver. The King being the champion that he is, however, was able to recover his senses at the last minute and block the attempt by sending Tolos over on a backbody drop. Tolos crashed hard to the mat and the King nailed a fist drop to secure the victory and escape with the World Heavyweight Championship.
