Sorry for the catch up card.  Hope to get back into the flow and writing regular cards with the show on the 9th.  I want to compliment everyone here for doing superb work as always.  I do not comment on every card but I promise I read everyone and the ideas that you guys give me help me more than you know.  
 
 
WWC Catch up and lead up to the card in Hiram Bonham Stadium on the 9th of Feb.
 
CARLOS COLON and ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER have been teaming up throughout the islands and have shown some surprising teamwork.  If these two men can work together then maybe they can stand up against BARBARAS’ dangerous duo of KAMALA THE UGANDIAN GIANT and THE GREAT KABUKI.
HARLEY RACE and BRUISER BRODY have been unable to stay out of each other matches and fighting on television every week.  Everyone is wondering if the cage will be enough to hold the anger of these men.  
CHICKY STARR and MR. CANADA have exchanged some harsh words and the match at the stadium in San Juan should end it.  If Mr. Canada wins Chicky will lose his Caribbean title and get his head shaved.  If Chicky wins Mr. Canada must unmask and leave the WWC.
 
The match between the INVADERS and the ASSASSINS, managed by EL PROFE for the North American Tag Team Titles should also be a barn burner.  Both teams have a great dislike for each other, and battling for the North American Tag Titles would be the icing on the cake.  
 
The biggest underdog in all of wrestling, JACK VENNEO has kept up his winning streak, lucking into victories over the past few weeks over BARON MIKEL SICULNA and TED HEATH on television.  If being on a hot streak means anything than the NWA World Heavyweight Champion DAVID VON ERICH had better watch out.  
 
HERCULES ALAYA has sent in video with his ribs taped and his left eye bandaged, swearing revenge on Kamala, Kabuki and Barbaras and wishes Carlos and Abdullah well against them.  Hercules also says that the Victor Jovica has told him that he must defend the Puerto Rican title in Hiram Bonham Stadium on Feb. 9th, due to the 30 day rule.  Alaya worked too hard for Puerto Rican Title and no matter how much pain he is in, how much tape he has on him or who he has to face, he will come out on top and turn his focus to the men who injured him.
 
NWA World Tag Team Champions RICKY STEAMBOAT and JAY YOUNGBLOOD fought the North American Tag Team Champions on TV the week of the 26th to a twenty minute draw.  Both teams looked great, and Steamboat and Youngblood said they would be back to the islands to take on teams like the Assassins and the Invaders.
 
PERCIVAL PRINGLE THE THIRD made his presence known on television on the 2nd of Feb. and brought out his two men, who he said would wrestle as a tag team or in single, because they were equally as great in both.  RICK STEINER debuted by throwing around DAMIEN KANE, using a lot of amateur moves and pinning him after a belly to belly suplex.  The second year man SHANE DOUGLAS pinned DC DRAKE after a belly to belly suplex.  While not the technical wrestler that Steiner is, Douglas wrestled with a mean streak and both men made their manager proud.
So… at Hiram Bonham Stadium on the 9th of February we will see the following card

Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race against Bruiser Brody

Caribbean Champion Chicky Starr will defend against Mr. Canada
If Starr wins Canada must unmask and leave the WWC
If Canada wins he becomes the Caribbean Champion and will shave Starr’s head
Puerto Rico Heavyweight Champion Hercules Alaya will face Baron Mikel Siculina for the belt.
Damien Kane and DC Drake will face off against Rick Steiner and Shane Douglas with their manager Percival Pringle the Third
DAN KROFATT will face EL GRAND APOLLO

Real intriguing pairing of Douglas and Steiner. Ayala being bandaged and defending the PR tile has real potential in several directions. real unique program with Venneo. Race and Brody could be legendary.
