'Playboy' Gary Hart, Junkyard Dog, 'Dirty' Dick Murdoch, "Killer" Karl Kox, Mid-South Jr. H. Champ Hiro Matsuda w/mgr. Rock Hunter, Brass Knuckles Champ 'Bruiser' Brody, Mr. Wrestling Tim Woods, Professor Tora Tanaka& Mr. Hito with manager Rock Hunter, Mid-South Ladies Champ Sherri Martel, Tom Pritchard and AWA World Champs Jerry 'King' Lawler, tag team champs Jesse Ventura & Adrian Adonis and jr. champ Tiger Mask before the Mid-South logo hits the screen as we fade to the studio desk with the announcing team of "Cowboy" Bill Watts and Boyd Pierce.
 
At the desk, Bill & Boyd are joined by the new North American Heavyweight Champ Junkyard Dog. They review highlihgts of the title match with former champ Akira Maeda last week. Dog talks about being the champ again and how he faces tough competition from Dick Murdoch, Bruiser Brody, The Spoiler, Karl Kox, Prof. Tora Tanaka and Harley Race. JYD says he will have to be in top form to defend the belt and get another shot at the AWA World Heavyweight Champ Jerry Lawler.  
 
First Match. Non-Title Single Match. 1-fall 10-minute time limit. AWA World's Jr. Heavyweight Champ Tiger Mask wrestled to a time-limit draw with Mid-South Jr. Heavyweight Champ Hiro Matsuda w/mgr. Rock Hunter.

Before the start of the next match, Rock Hunter, Prof. Tora Tanaka & Mr.Hito join Reiser Bowden ringside to issue a challenge to the Mid-South Tag Team Champs the Rougeau Brothers. Hunter says Tanaka and his new tag partner Mr. Hito are going to prove worthy challengers to the tag champs, if they have the guts to accept their offer. Third Match. Non-Title Single Women's Match.1-fall 10-minute time limit. Mid-South Womens Champ Sherri Martel by disq. over Susan Green when Green threw Martel over the top rope at the 9:14 mark.
 
Following the match, 'Playboy' Gary Hart, The Spoiler (Don Jardine) & 'Maniac' Mark Lewin join Watts at the desk to talks about the new North American champ and the Mid-South Tag Team Champs. Hart says he will be watching the match between the tag champs and the Rock Hunter Organization today. He reminds Watts that they are still the top tag challengers to the Rougeaus. \
