Russell: Yeeeeellllllllooooow again fans and welcome to another grrrrrrreat day of CWA action. Booooooooooyyyy has the action been hot and heavy over the last few weeks. Here’s my pahtneeeerrrrrr, Dave Brown to tell us about today’s show.
Brown: Thank you Lance. We have a great day scheduled for our fans. The main event will be a revenge match for the Southern Tag Team Titles as The Zambuie Express takes on Eddie Gilbert & Tommy Rich. Handsome Jimmy will be in action. The Superstar, Bill Dundee, will take on Thunderfoot #1, King Kong Bundy will also be in action. We will hear from many of your favorites today and once again we will talk about the bounty posters still circulating around.
Russell: Ya know, Dave, this whole bounty situation is getting stranger every week. We see these posters every week, but no one has stepped up to claim responsibility for them and no one seems to be benefitting from them. Davey, I’m starting to think these things might be some kinda bad joke or something.
Brown: Lance, now that you mention it, I believe you may be right. There must be some weirdo out there playing some kind of sick joke! I think….
(Gentleman Jim Holliday and The Zambuie Express comes out and Holliday is fanning a large some of money)
Holliday: Russell, Brown, you are so wrong! Someone is definitely paying on the bounties. Look at these $100 bills. Apparently, old Tommy Gilbert was worth $1,500. We hurt him a couple of weeks ago and this morning we find an envelope with cash stuffed in it. To me, that means a job well done for the Southern Tag Team Champions, The Zambuie Express.
Russell: Weeeeeellllll, tell us more. Who left the money? Did you see anybody back there? Did they leave a note?
Holliday: Russell, who cares? As long as we got paid, I don’t care who is paying the dough out. Maybe…
 
Eddie: YOU NO GOOD PIECES OF….TRASH! YOU GOT PAID TO HURT MY DADDY? I’M GONNA TAKE YOUR HEADS OFF! (Rich holds Eddie back)
Rich: Eddie let’s do it in the ring. Ah know we are sposed to rassle later on the show, but let’s do it now! Get yer big butts in thair now! (Rich & Gilbert slide into the ring with the Zambuies on their tail).
Russell: Wooooooaaaahhhhh, it looks like our main event is happening now!

Southern Tag Team Title Match
The Zambuie Express© w/Jim Holliday vs Eddie Gilbert & Tommy Rich is nothing but a brawl. The end comes when Rich is thrown from the ring. The Zambuies follow and fight Rich on the floor. Just then, 3 men charge the ring and destroy Gilbert. Upon closer look, the men are…
  
STAN HANSEN, TERRY FUNK, & DORY FUNK JR.!!!!!
Hansen gives Eddie a lariat and the Funks stretch out Gilbert while Hansen drops elbow and knee drops on the youngster’s ribs. The Zambuies hold off Rich and other wrestlers trying to help. Finally, The Fabs, Bill Dundee, Jimmy Valiant, Dutch Mantell, The Dream Machine, and Austin Idol chase off the heels. Eddie is carried out in obvious pain.
Russell: Weeeeellllll, I don’t know why those guys are here, but we need to find out. Can somebody send them out here? (Hansen & the Funks approach the desk).
Funk: Lance Russell, yoooou know who we are and yooooou should know why we are here! In Texas, Junior, Stan and I were known as the Double Cross Gang. It has kinda stuck. Noooow, we are in Tennessee. Laaaance, there is only one thing wrong with Tennessee.
Russell: What’s that Terry?
Funk: All those Tennesseans! We haaaaate Tenneseans! They are allllll backwards and inbrrrred. Especially here in Memphiiiis. The only good thing to come out of Memphiiiiiis is I-55. Nooooooow, we were perfectly happy in Texas, but we heard tale of a bounty up here in Memphiiiiis. Who better to collect on a bounty than Texans? Whoever is offering theeeese bounties should go ahead and just give us the money. Nobody is safe heeeere. Not even yooooooou Russell!
Russell: Nooooooow you hold on right there Terry. If you try to hurt me or Dave, security will arrest you and send you straight to jail!
Funk: (Laughing) Awwwwww shucks Lance, I was just teasin ya! Beatin up an old man is not in our plans. But, everyone else is free game. Memphiiiiiis, be watchin for The Double Cross Gang. We’ll be watching for alllllll you no good, egg suckin dog Tennesseans! (The Double Cross Gang walks off).
Russell: Boooooooy, things are getting worse and worse here. Fans, let’s take a break and we’’ come back with our next match.

Jimmy Valiant def. Rusty Brooks with an elbow drop.
Valiant: Woah, have mercy Lance Russell. Bad bad men all over the CWA! Big, mean, nasty people poppin up round here Lance. We need to get to the bottom of all these bounty shenanigans daddy! But, Lance Handsome Jimmy got a big opportunity this week. I get my hands on Ricky Flair and that Southern Title. Flair, I’ve held the belt before and I can do it again. Don’t underestimate Handsome Jimmy, Flair. Monday Night you may be riding home without it! Woah have mercy….Gimme some sugar Lance (Valiant tries to plant one on Russell, but is thwarted).
Russell: Theeeeeere he goes, Handsome Jimmy. Flair better not take him lightly! Heeeeere comes Steve & Stan, Theeeee Faaaaaabulous Ones! Guys, those looks on your faces have me worried. What’s wrong?
Steve: Lance, Eddie is hurt real bad back there. He’s coughing up blood and is on his way to the hospital. The Zambuies were bad enough, but now we have Hansen and the Funks to deal with. Stan and I will work on the Zambuies this week. We have lots of matches signed to meet them and we will get revenge for Tommy & Eddie Gilbert. Right, Stan?
Lane: That’s right Steve. We are not just going to sit around and let all of these guys knock us off one at a time. We will fight back. Tommy & Eddie suffered and now we have to make things right for our friends. Tommy, Eddie, get better soon and we will hold down the fort until you get back and can get your own revenge.
Russell: Guys, I’m sure the Gilberts are proud to have friends like you two. Let’s go to the ring.

Russell: Ahhhhhhhh here is the Southern Champion, Ric Flair. Ric, What’s on your mind?
Flair: Lance Russell, YOUR Southern Champion hasn’t a care in the world. Contenders are dropping like flies around here and this week I get to wrestle Jimmy Valiant. That’s not even a warm up for me. Later this week I wrestle Idol for the millionth time and that Chewbacca look alike, Dutch Mantell. So, this is a week off for me. Where is all the competition? Seems that bounties have them all scared. Your Champion is not afraid. I am fearless.
Russell: Ric, I’ve been meaning to ask you. We’ve seen just about every wrestler on a bounty poster, but I don’t recall seeing you on one. It makes me wonder…Arrrrrrrrrre you the one responsible?
Flair: Lance, I have no idea who is responsible for the bounties. Why would I shell out big bucks for bounties when I can beat anyone in the CWA? Keep your conspiracy theories to yourself and just enjoy the reign of the Nature Boy. And ladies always remember…None of you can be first, but one of you will be next….WOOOOOOOOOOO!
Russell: Heeeeeeeey here comes The Superstaaaaaaaaaaar, Billy Dundee!
Dundee: Howya doin Lancer. That Flair guy is a confident one huh? A lil too confident if ya ask me. I think ya may be onta something with him and the bounties. But, enough about that bleach blonde poor excuse for a Champion. Lancer, this week I get to settle old scores. I get to put my hands on me old pal Randy Savage. There has always been bad blood between us and Savage, ya won’t be hittin me with no sucker punches this time. I want that International Title too. The Superstar wants to do something nobody else has ever done. I want to be the first man to be AWA World, Jr., and Tag Team Champion. I’ve got two outta three, I just need the big one. I think all the fans would love to see me and the Kingfish go at it again. But Savage is first and Bundy I haven’t forgotten about you either Shamu. And Hart, if ya stick your nose in, more than yer neck will be hurtin ya!
Russell: Booooooy, The Superstaaaaaaaarr looks ready!

Russell: Ohhhhhhhh me here comes poor Jimmy Hart and his First Family.
Hart: (Still wearing a neckbrace and clutching at it from time to time in pain) Lance Russell, how dare you make fun of a cripple. Dundee should be in jail somewhere for what he did to me! But this week it all ends! My boys are going to break you Dundee! It’s gonna be the best week ever baby! If the Macho Man doesn’t put you out for good, Bundy will! Right boys?
Savage: OHHHHHHHH YAY-AH! Dundee, you are right we got bad blood between us, uh huh, bad blood. But this week, it all ends. This week you feel the Madness! This week you realize that THE MACHO MAN RULES! OH YAY-AHHHHHH, DIG IT!
Bundy: Macho, just save a piece of that midget for me. I want to hear his bones crunch from my avalanche. I want him to feel me splash him and I want to hear him try to breathe as I pin him for a five count! Dundee, we take you out this week!
Hart: Did ya hear that Dundee? You are done for! Hahahahahaha! Now look in the ring and see what you are in for!

Russell: Wow, that Bundy is ssssssssssome kind of awesome. Heeeey, before we go, heeeeere comes Austin Idol, The Dream Machine, & Dutch Mantell.
  
Idol: Dahlin, we are gonna make this short and sweet. Earlier today, a great young kid got hurt real bad by Hansen and the Funks. Well, we aren’t gonna put up with it! We asked Eddie Marlin to sign us against them all week. We don’t expect no wrestling, we know it will be a fight! And the three of us can fight with the best of em, Jack!
Dream: Hallelujah, HALLELUJAH! Hearthrob said it all. We are ready to get right, uptight, and fight all night! Double Cross gang you hurt a good kid and now we gonna put a good whoopin on y’all!
Mantell: Gentlemen, this is going to be a war! Those are three of the toughest sons of guns in this sport and we are gonna have to be ready for the fight of our lives! We can do it! It’s gonna be tough, but with these fans behind us we can do anything!
Russell: Boooooooooy, they sound ready. Make sure you get a ticket when those matches come to your town! Forrrrrrrr my good friend Davey, we will see ya next week!
