In the opening match, the debuting Mighty Inoue defeated Buddy Wolfe in a technically sound match that lasted over 20 minutes before Inoue was able to put Wolfe away.
Following the match, Black Angus Campbell came to the ring with a pronounced limp, and accompanied by a man that looked like his accountant. The newcomer introduced himself as “Percival A. Friend”, and he was the manager for Black Angus. He said that his client had hired him due to the “vicious and unprovoked attempt to cripple him” last week. The leg-breaking thug Jim Wilson had used an illegal chop block to injure Black Angus, and was only able to get the victory by threatening to eliminate his ability to ever walk again. These words brought “All American” Jim Wilson down to ring side. He said that the move he used was a perfectly legitimate wrestling move, and that Campbell had no one to blame but himself. Friend replied that Wilson was perfectly aware that the chop block was banned by the NFL. Before Wilson could reply, Friend went on a rant, accusing Wilson of being a leg-breaker, of being kicked out of the NFL, of being taught these illegal tactics by the thugs who coached the 49ers, and that he and all his teammates were nothing but a bunch of dirty cheaters. These last words infuriated Wilson, and he said that he would make Friend eat his words as he entered the ring. Friend responded that there was no way that Campbell would face Wilson… at this Black Angus protested, saying he wanted Wilson as well. Percival backed down and said that they would only do the match if it was guaranteed to be “one final time”. That is, Wilson would agree to have no contact with Campbell following the match, and that he would withdraw from any match, or series of matches, that Campbell was involved in. Wilson’s reply “Once is all I need!” sealed the deal, and they agreed to have the match later tonight.
In a rematch from last weeks’ time limit draw, Hans Schroeder was able to defeat Strong Kobayashi in a match that went down to the last seconds before the time limit expired. Schroeder hit a late drop kick that sent Kobayashi to the floor, where he was unable to beat the 10 count to return to the ring.
Match 3 saw young Angelo Mosca Jr get a nasty beating by Bull Ramos. To Mosca’s credit, he gave as good as he got for much of the match, which got the audience solidly behind him. The match spilled to the outside, and the two were counted out of the ring. Finally, refs were able to separate the two and bring them to the back.
Match 4 was the match made earlier tonight between Black Angus and Jim Wilson. Despite Percival Friend attempting to interfere in the match, the still-angry Wilson was the aggressor, and managed to pin Campbell following a scoop slam. As Campbell is led out of the ring by Friend, Percival is clearly heard to say “Don’t worry, it is just one loss. Everything is going according to plan.”
--------------------Intermission-----------------
Following intermission, ring announcer Tony Schiavone made the announcement that on next weeks’ show, Black Hills Championship Wrestling would be holding a one-night tournament to crown the new South Dakota Heavyweight Champion! There would be 8 wrestlers competing in the tournament: Black Angus Campbell, The Mighty Inoue, Strong Kobyayshi, Angelo Mosca, Jr, Bull Ramos, Hans Schroeder, Jill Wilson, and Buddy Wolfe! After the announcement of the names, Percival A Friend came to the ring and said that one man has to be removed from the tournament. Based on his earlier agreement, Jim Wilson was NOT able to participate in a tournament that also contained Black Angus. Wilson stormed to the ring to protest, but he had to admit that he did agree to those terms, and as an honorable man, he would stick to them. Friend left the ring area laughing at how dumb Wilson was to fall into his trap. Wilson, and the crowd, were furious at the manipulation.
The Main Event of the evening was a Match for the European Cruiserweight Championship, Johnny Saint (champion) vs Jimmy Del Ray (With new mentor Mick McManus). With McManus directing his every move, Del Ray was actually able to keep up with the tricky Saint. In the end, though, Saint defeated his young opponent by forcing him to submit to a Half Boston Crab.

The opening bout was a rematch from last week between “Master Sargent” Al Tomko and Steve Gatorwolf. While the match was close, the outcome was the same, as Gatorwolf got the pinfall on the Canadian Tomko.
Match 2 was an exciting affair between the Masked Luchadore Villano III and veteran Eddie Sullivan, with his tag team partner Rip Tyler in his corner. There was a lot of back and forth in the match, with Villano III winning the pinfall with the La Majistral.
Two more of the Villano brothers completed in the next match. Villanos I and II faced off against the big Samoan Connection. Farmer Boy Ipo and Leroy Brown were able to use their size and strength to great advantage to slow down their fast paced opponents. At a critical juncture a huge Samoan Drop from Leroy Brown was able to keep Villano II down for the three count.
Match Four featured the debut of another Mexican sensation, Rayo De Jalisco. He faced his opponent Dr. Wagner under Lucha Libre rules (2 out of 3 falls). Dr. Wagner won the first fall with Gory Special. Rayo de Jalisco won the 2nd fall with a diving headbutt. The third fall (and the match) was declared a draw when both men were counted out of the ring.
The Main Event saw the Francis Brothers, Bill and NFL All Pro Russ, face “Dynamite” Jack and “Bomber” Ray, the Evans Brothers. After a great deal of back and forth action, the skilled Evans brothers were able to use their ring generalship to isolate Bill in their corner and work him over. Finally Bill was able to get the hot tag to Russ, who cleaned house. The fresh Russ was able to use a flying clothesline to get the pinfall victory over the “Bomber” Ray.
Following the match, with Bill still recovering, Jack and Ray attacked Russ. They tried to use chairs to break his leg, but by the time they got him in position, Bill had recovered and was able to chase them off.
The Francis Brothers got on the mic and said that if that is the way the Evans want it, they can play that game too. They demanded a match next week… No Holds Barred!
