We are fresh off the Salem Tournament and heading into another 'Portland Special'. Matt Borne may be the hottest thing in the Northwest. He's in the ring for our first match.” Match #1 Mat Borne vs. Verne Seibert Buddy Rose comes to the ring and asks Don Owen for the mike. Owen, “Rose, what are you doing here? We don't want any trouble.” Rose, “I don't want any trouble. I want to talk to Borne. Listen Borne, you beat me in Salem and you beat Oliver and I last week. I think it was luck. Why don't we settle this next week, in the main event?” Borne takes the mike. Borne, “Why wait Rose, let's do it right now!” Owen, “No, we've got a whole card scheduled. We'll get the contract signed and it will be next week.” Borne takes the fight to Seibert and wins with a Sunset Flip. Winner-Matt Borne Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak are in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “We welcome back out tourists from Hawai'i. We wrestled good teams, but we were better.” Coss, “That's all well and good, but now that you are back, the New Zealand Sheepherders are waiting and many people think they may be the team to take your titles.” Stasiak, “You would be crazy not to take those two seriously. They are wild men and they've held titles all over the world. They won't be easy to beat, but Billy and I want to keep these titles, and it won't be easy to take them for us.” Coss, “This is a match that we'd all like to see. Now let's see the Champions in action.” Match #2 Non-Title Match Billy Jack and Stan Stasiak (Norhtwest Tag Team Champions) def. Mr. Royal, welcome to the Northwest.” Royal, “You know Coss, I came here because everyone said the competition was tough, it may be, I'm not sure, but I know one thing, the women in Portland are about as ugly as I've ever seen. In LA, most of these woman would be on a leash.” Coss, “O.K. There is no need for that. Tonight, you meet Kevin Kelly. He has been very successful in his short time here. His Bearhug has become a dangerous weapon.” Royal, “Do you think I'm worried, I'll answer that, I'm not. He has never wrestled me and he's about to get a lesson he won't forget.” Match #3 Steve Pardee def. Moondog Moretti, w/Sunset Flip Kevin Kelly is in the Crow's Nest. Coss, “With us is Kevin Kelly. Kevin, you heard Gary Royal earlier, he doesn't seem to worried about you.” Kelly, “Let him talk. I'm here to get better and beat the best guys in the Northwest, and Gary Royal has a reputation as a great wrestler, and I'm going to beat him.” Coss, “That's our main event, Royal vs. Kelly.” Match #4 The Assassin w/”Playboy” Buddy Rose def.
