MR FUJI w/SKANDOR AKBAR via atomic drop MASA SAITO DEF. FRANK DUSEK via body slam ROCKY JOHNSON DEF. ARMAN HUSSEIN with a fist off the second rope Akbar stays in the aisle and shakes his head after this result INTERMISSION ANGELO MOSCA w/BOBBY HEENAN DEF. IVAN PUTSKI with a piledriver SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM vs. KING TONGA w/LOU ALBANO Tonga comes out and works over the superstar from the beginning, he wears him down and gets two counts but the Superstar makes a comeback on him. He takes everything he dishes out and gives it back, Graham is on a roll and after body slamming him to the mat, he goes into the ropes and drops a big leg over the throat of Tonga and makes the cover getting the win. WINNER: SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM WWF TAG TITLE MATCH: TONY GAREA/RICK MARTEL vs. BIG JOHN STUDD/BUDDY LANDEL w/BOBBY HEENAN Tag champs look good in this match and really get the crowd on their feet. But Studd cuts down Garea and really works him over from there on. Studd uses his size to wear down the new Zealander and keeps him from Martel. Martel is itching to get into the ring but every time he almost gets tagged in they pull Garea away and Martel must wait. Martel on a few occasions comes into the ring, only to be chased out by the refs and then double teaming on his partner begins. Landel comes in and gets a few two counts on Garea, then he tosses him into the ropes and Garea ducks under a clothesline, he comes back off the ropes and hits a drop kick of his own. Both men are down and are trying to get to their corners. Studd is tagged in first but he cannot stop Garea from tagging Martel. Rick comes in like the house is on fire and nails Studd with some rousing good drop kicks finally, knocking the big man off his feet after the third or fourth one. Landel comes in and gets more of the same, Garea recovers and brawls with Studd on the outside of the ring. Martel gets Landel in a Boston Crab and looks to have it locked in, but Heenan gets on the apron and Martel breaks the hold to go after him this allows Landel to come up from behind with a knee to the back and roll up Martel, he grabs a hand full of tights but before the ref can count to three, the bell rings signaling the end of the time limit declaring the match a draw. Heenan argues that his men should have won but it falls on deaf ears. Garea and Martel are still champs but they would have loved a decisive win instead of the draw. DRAW WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: DON MURACO w/CAPT LOU ALBANO vs. CHAVO GUERRERO These to have a stare down before the match begins, and it leads to an explosive start as both men tear into each other and hold nothing back. The punches, kicks and chops are flying at a record pace and they do not stop there, they go hold for hold with two counts coming fast and furious. Muraco takes control as he works over Chavo, he really dishes out punishment to him and he tries to end the match after dropping him throat first over the top rope but Chavo kicks out of the pin attempt. Chavo looks to be in trouble and is tossed outside the ring where Capt Lou gives some more punishment in the form of kicks to the ribs. Muraco pulls him back in by the hair and then suplexes him to the mat. Chavo gets the crowd behind him as he fights back. Chavo punches his way back into the match and after slamming Muraco to the mat he tries to climb the ropes and deliver a frog splash, but he misses when Muraco moves out of the way and then Muraco hooks the leg and gets a three count. WINNER: DON MURACO WWF TITLE MATCH: DINO BRAVO vs. TENRYU w/SKANDOR AKBAR After his loss, Arman Hussein is absent at ringside. Bravo comes out looking hobbled as the back injury suffered at the hands of Angelo Mosca is still bothering him. Tenryu notices this and goes right to it. He really works over the back that has Bravo smarting in pain, but Bravo fights back every time. Bravo then goes on the offensive and really takes it to Tenryu. This brings out Arman Hussein from the back, he is talking with Akbar and it looks like he is telling him to change the strategy or they will lose. Akbar argues back and this seems to confuse Tenryu as he stops looking their way and does his own thing. He moves out of the way of a Bravo charge into the corner and then delivers a knee to the back. He picks Bravo up and delivers a back breaker across his knee. Bravo is really in pain now and is moving more gingerly when tossed into the ropes. Tenryu puts him in the abdominal stretch and really cinches it in causing Bravo to almost black out. He uses the ropes for leverage until the ref catches him and makes him break it. He finally gets Bravo into the boston crab and cinches that in with all of his weight to cause the most pain. Bravo tries to fight out of it at first but after a few more minutes of it, he cannot fight out of it and just tries to fight the pain, a few more minutes the pain becomes unbearable and he passes out from it. The ref seeing this and having no choice and only thinking about his well being, calls the match and gives it to Tenryu. WINNER and new WWF CHAMP: TENRYU Akbar and Hussein stop bickering long enough to go into the ring to celebrate with Tenryu as they each raise a hand of his and he straps the belt on. Bravo has to be helped to the back gingerly as he is having trouble putting weight on his legs and has to almost be carried.
