 + NWA World champion David Von Erich issues a challenge to the North American champion Carlos Colon saying Colon is the number one contender due to him having the North American belt. Von Erich says he has traveled around the world as NWA world champion but the toughest competition is right here and right now the supposed toughest is Colon. So anytime Colon wants his shot, he just needs to sign that dotted line. But as we all know, Colon is a coward. He refuses to meet David Von Erich in the ring so until this coward gets in the ring he will defend against anyone that comes to the ring. Today he will defend against…El Gran Apollo. He issues a last warning to Colon to watch what he does to Apollo…
 
+ Puerto Rican champion Hercules Ayala joins announcer Rickin Sanchez. He tells Sanchez that his comrades, Colon and Abdullah did what they said they would do, and rid the islands of Kamala & The Great Kabuki. Now Colon can get ready and shut the mouth of that Texan, Von Erich.  As for people who need to have their mouths shut… Java Ruuk has made his intentions known that he wants the Puerto Rican title. Ayala is hurt, but there is no way Ruuk will take this title from him. Ayala is not afraid of anyone. No one is tougher or stronger than Hercules. Ruuk is going to lay bleeding before it is all said and done. Ruuk, come get some.  
 
+ Bruiser Brody lets Harley Race know that the cage match solved nothing. This is not a fight for a night, this is a fight for life. They have been doing this around the world for a long, long time and there is no ending until one of them cannot wrestle any more. One thing they do here on the island, in order to end a war, is the BARBED WIRE MATCH!!!! Brody ends this saying if Harley Race is any type of man, he will accept the challenge of the barbed wire match.  
 
+ The Longriders let the Manchurians know that them being the “big dogs” in WWC are over. There can only be one toughest team and that is “Wild” Bill & Scott “Hog” Irwin. Everywhere these two go, tag team gold follows and here will be no different. All they need to do is send those “wild boys” back to where they came from, then it is time for the NWA world tag team champions.  
 
+ Percival Pringle III tells the Puerto Rican fans that soon enough he has a surprise for them all, a surprise that will change the way things are done here on the Island. Once he accomplishes what he is setting out to do, no one is safe, not the Invaders, Ayala, or even that coward Carlos Colon. All in all, it will never be safe in WWC as long as the Pringle Dynasty is here.

Good tidy show - it highlights the focal points here - Ayala, Colon.  Long Riders seem to have settled in to a top spot, but the Invaders vs. Medicos also is appealing.
 
Good set up for the World champ & Brody / Race is keeping its high profile in WWC.  WILL the saga have a big finish?
