LANCE RUSSELL & DAVE BROWN
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*Jerry Jarrett is having no luck uncovering whom is sending in the bounty posters.
*Dream Machine was injured by the Double Cross Gang on Monday.  Expected to be out a few weeks.
*Today’s main event is a blindfold battle royal.  Winner gets a Title match of his choosing next week on TV.
 
 

THE FIRST FAMILY
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*Hart says he has signed the newest member of the First Family.  He will be here soon.
*Savage says he will destroy Tommy Rich Monday Night at the Mid-South Coliseum.  He contends that Rich is not in his league.
*Bundy wants to win the blindfold battle royal so he can beat Rich for the Mid-America Title next week on TV.
 
 

AUSTIN IDOL, BILL DUNDEE, & DUTCH MANTELL
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*Idol says the Double Cross Gang must be stopped.  He says it’s time to divide and conquer.  He wants Terry Funk on Monday Night.
*Dutch says that Hansen is a bully, but nobody can bully the Dutchman.  He’ll take the fight to the Bad Man from Borger, TX on Monday.
*Bill Dundee knows Dory is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world.  Monday he will be in a fight with the Superstar.
 
 

THE DOUBLE CROSS GANG
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*The Gang has collected another $5,000 for injuring The Dream Machine.
*Hansen laughs and says Mantell has never met anyone as tough as him.  Monday will be a slaughter.
*Dory says Dundee is too small to concern him.  He warns The Superstar that his knee can be twisted as badly or worse than the Dream Machine’s was.
*Terry states that he will cut off the head of the fan favorites when he puts Idol out for good on Monday.  The rest will fall easily to the Double Cross Gang.
 
 

HANDSOME JIMMY VALIANT
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*Valiant talks about his chance at Flair’s Southern Title.  He says it’s time for him to have some more gold.
*He offers to help Idol and his other friends battle the bounty collectors.
*Jimmy gives Brown a big smooch and dances off.
 
 

THE FABULOUS ONES
 
 
Bullet Points:
 
*Steve tells the fans and Lance that the Zambuie Express ran from them again last week, but Monday will be a different story.
*Stan agrees and informs Lance that Monday Night’s match with the Zambuie Express will be a lumberjack match.
* Steve and Stan are excited as they describe how well they will do in the match.  They believe that the Southern Titles will finally be theirs.
 
 
Televised Matches:
*Tommy Rich def. Bill White with the Thesz press
*Frank Monte def. Kentucky Wildcat #1 with an abdominal stretch
*Swede Hanson def. Bill Howard with a bearhug
*Phil Hickerson def. Rusty Brooks with an elbowdrop
*20 man blindfold battle royal.  Before anyone was eliminated The Double Cross Gang remove the sacks from their heads.   They pick and poke and tease the other wrestlers before brutalizing everyone in the battle royal.  Jerry Jarrett, Jackie Fargo, & Eddie Marlin come to ringside and manage to inform the remaining wrestlers of what is going on.  The sacks come off and a huge studio brawl ensues.  The match is a no contest as the show goes off the air with the fight still going on.

Dutch Mantell def. Stan Hansen by DQ when Hansen attacks the Dutchman with his bullrope
 
Match 6
Austin Idol and Terry Funk are both counted out of the ring

Southern Tag Team Title Match
Lumberjack Match
The Fabulous Ones def. The Zambuie Express© w/Jim Holliday by countout when the lumberjacks begin fighting each other at ringside.  The commotion was started by the Double Cross Gang.
 
Match 8
Southern Title Match
Ric Flair© def. Jimmy Valiant with the figure-four
 
Match 9
International Title Match
Randy Savage© w/Jimmy Hart def. Tommy Rich with the flying elbowdrop.  After the match, the Double Cross Gang attack Rich and Hansen nearly takes Rich’s head off with the lariat.  Rich is finally saved by his friends.  Tommy is in severe pain as he is stretchered out of the Coliseum.

The Double Cross Gang is causing so much pain here. Didn't expect Rich to be carried out. That, and the bounty, has trouble galore for the good guys. Nice to see Monte, Swede, and Hickerson with wins. Can't wait to see Shoo Baby and that bullrope get involved.

Not too much said or shown by some man pretending to be the Southern Heavyweight Champion. Solid matches at the MSC. You are making the Double Cross trio into a real threat, even more than the First Family. Memphis is building into a great 83
