Boesch welcomed everyone to Houston Wrestling.  He and Birkholtz ran down the action for tonight, and talked about a big card coming to The Summitt on Saturday night March 30.

Paul Boesch interviewed Tommy Rich.  Rich is excited to be back here in Texas wrestling for the great fans, and talks about a big match he has coming up in two weeks with Terry Funk here on Houston Wrestling.

Southwest Champion Manny Fernandez def. Black Demon at 5:00.  ( This is a rebroadcast of a Southwest TV match from 2/23/83)
 
Manny Fernandez appeared via VTR and said that he always likes coming  Houston to wrestle.  He said he hopes to soon get a shot at the AWA World Title, and how sweet it would be to win the belt right there in Houston TX!

Paul Boesch talked to Terry Funk who said that in two weeks, he'll show Tommy Rich that a Texan can beat a Georgia hick any time he wants to.

Tito Santana & Jose Lothario def. Killer Brooks and Pat Rose when Tito nailed Brooks with a flying forearm at 14:20.

Paul Boesch talked with lady wrestler Sherri Martel who says she is anxious to get an opportunity to wrestle Fabulous Moolah for the World Womens belt.  Boesch said that Fabulous Moolah will be here next next in action, but now, let's see what Sherri Martel can do in the ring!

Harley Race gave a promo via VTR where he says that he'll be here next week, and if Manny Fernandez wants a title match with Jerry Lawler, he needs to know that the road to the title goes through Harley Race, because HE is the real #1 contender, and Fernandez needs to remember that.

Main Event
Loser Leaves Town, Steel Cage Match
Killer Karl Kox vs. Dick Murdoch
(Match called by Boyd Pierce & Cowboy Bill Watts --- with Paul Boesch and Pete Birkholtz doing wrap arounds)

In an all out brawl that lasted through three commercial breaks Kox and Murdock leave it all in the ring.  Both men bleed buckets but as the big cowboy tells all the fans, the referee is only there to count the pin, any thing goes.  The match ends after Murdock delivers a second brainbuster to bloddy Kox after the killer gets his foot on the rope after the first.  Murdock leaves the ring and goes to the cowboy still bloody.  He says that he has eliminated Kox from Mid South and his goal now is set on one thing and one thing only.  Jerry Lawler had best grow eyes in the back of his head.  His goal is to be the AWA World Heavyweight Champion again.
 
Paul Boesch and Pete Birkholtz wrapped up the show, and reminded fans to tune in again next week!

AWA World Tag Team Champions, Adrian Adonis and Jesse Ventura will defend their titles against the all star duo of Dick Murdoch and Blackjack Mulligan!
