With three weeks away until Stampede is in Vancouver for a huge benefit for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, tempers are flaring and emotions are running high. After that huge show, the Ontario Stampede fans, and they amount in the thousands are going to get the treat. April 28th, Stampede wrestling will be heading to Toronto, Ontario in order to provide the fans there a taste of REAL professional wrestling, great professional wrestling, and wrestling like they have never seen except on this television show. It won’t be old men trying to show they can still go. It will be the most exciting high flyers and the toughest of the tough in any ring. It is going to be a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy of a show. ** / 1. Johnny Smith b. Ben Bassarab with two piledrivers Johnny Smith calls out Owen Hart again. This time saying he has crippled Hart’s new partner. Hart better hurry up and get out here or Bassarab will feel what it is like to never walk again. As Smith picks up Bassarab to deliver another piledriver, Owen Hart jumps in to the ring and the brawl is on, all the way to the back. / / COMMERCIAL Monday: Lethbridge, Alberta Tuesday: Regina, Saskatchewan (Exhibition Auditorium) Wednesday: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Thursday: Medicine Hat, Alberta or Red Deer, Alberta (alternating) Friday: Calgary, Alberta Saturday: Edmonton, Alberta / / 2. Les Thornton with Tony Charles b. Keith Hart with the butterfly lock. It is a two on one but not for long as Keith’s brother Bruce comes to the rescue with a chair. As Thornton and Charles see this, they head to the locker room instead of continuing the battle. Bruce Hart helps his brother up saying that those two British goofs have done the wrong thing. Nothing is stronger than the bond between brothers. If they want to fight a Hart, to take a Hart out of wrestling, how about on the 31st, in Vancouver, those cowards Charles and Thornton Vs. the former International tag team champions, Keith and Bruce Hart. It will be one team wins and one team cries. / 3. Jim Neidhart b. Danny Davis by shoulder tackle Neidhart tells Ed Whalen that March 31st is coming quick and when it does, him and Ron Ritchie are going to make quick work of Mike Shaw and Ben Doon McDonald. A street fight is exactly what Neidhart loves and it will be his pleasure to make those two bleed. Ron Ritchie is ready. “The Anvil” is ready…are Shaw and McDonald ready? Neidhart does not think so, then laughes maniacally as we go to commercial. / / COMMERCIAL Monday: Lethbridge, Alberta Tuesday: Regina, Saskatchewan (Exhibition Auditorium) Wednesday: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Thursday: Medicine Hat, Alberta or Red Deer, Alberta (alternating) Friday: Calgary, Alberta Saturday: Edmonton, Alberta / / 4. Kroffat tells him that right now, while he is coming up the rankings, he is not the number one contender yet. Fleming tells him that is not good enough. Poking Kroffat in the chest, Fleming warns Kroffat that he has one week left to announce him as the number one contender or Fleming will have to take this matter in to his own hands. / 5.
