The Hollywood Blondes (Rock Riddle & John Tatum) defeat The Clones after Riddle delivers the piledriver to Clone #1

Rock Riddle & John Tatum join up with David McLane, letting him know that is team #2 gone. They are on their way to the WWA tag team titles regardless of who holds them. McLane tries to talk but is interrupted by Tatum who says they have heard about The Hunters and the team of Two Eagles & Bold Eagle. They know about Huber & Regal, the ugly cowards and it does not matter. Any team wants to come forward and sign the dotted line, facing the Hollywood Blondes, all they need to do is just come down and do it for next week. Any team from the back can do it... IF they have the guts.

Brian Blair defeats Steve Lombardi after wrapping the sleeper hold on Lombardi

Blair joins McLane at ringside. He tells McLane he is happy to be in the territory and as much as he loves the fans, this is about business. He calls out the “Great Wojo”, the State champion. Blair lets Wojo know he respects his skills as a wrestler but the time has come that the title is really fought for. Blair is here to make a mark in the WWA and in the Heartland of the United States and holding the State belt will be what he can do to start that mark. Next week, if the State champion has no other plans, he can step in the ring for a great match.  McLane sends us to a commercial.

David Sammartino defeats Bobby Bold Eagle after wrapping up the Sammartino Bear Hug

Sammartino grabs the mic from McLane then shoves him to the ground. He calls out Wilbur Snyder, saying the time has come for that WWA heavyweight belt to be put on the line. Sammartino has been looking and looking for the champion and the champion never shows up. Well, now that has changed. There is no more looking. There is nothing but the champion looking for Sammartino. First up, will be the friends of the champ. Then his family will fall. Last will be Snyder and only Snyder can end the torture and pain coming. All he has to do is bring the WWA title to Sammartino and it will all end.

AWA World Heavyweight Championship: Jerry “The King” Lawler (champion) defeats “Gentleman” Jerry Valiant w/Johnny V After hitting the second rope fist drop. As soon as the count of three is hit, Johnny V and his other charge, “Nature Boy” Roger Kirby hit the ring for a three on one attack. They are thwarted after Greg Gagne and the WWA tag team champions, Huber & Regal come to the rescue.

David McLane has Lawler, Gagne, and the tag champs with him in the ring. Lawler thanks those guys for helping him, saying if there is anything he can do, to let him know. Gagne asks him for a title shot at the AWA world heavyweight belt. Lawler makes him a counter offer, team with Lawler when he returns on the 16th of this month, going against Valiant’s men…then when Lawler returns to the territory next month, Gagne gets the title shot. Gagne asks if Lawler is giving his word, that if Gagne teams with him on the 16th in Chicago, then in April, Lawler will defend the world title against Gagne…then yes. Valiant’s men are going to get the beating of their lifetime.  McLane talks to Huber & Regal. Huber tells McLane that as tag champs, they have heard everything that both The Hunters and the Hollywood Blondes have said. First the Blonds… they need to work their way up the rankings, then they will get a title shot. Until then, they should keep hanging out on Hollywood and Vine. As for the Hunters…well as of right now….they are no longer the Hunters. They are the HUNTED!!!! In Chicago on the 16th the WWA tag team titles will be on the line and the Hunters title hunt will be over.

The show ends with David McLane recapping the action before saying goodnight to everyone.

I expect big things from Brian Blair and love the Sammartino attitude.

The Blondes continue to rise. Chilling promo from Sammartino. This could be the most emotional program you have. Nice debut from Blair. Good edgy attitude. Greg Gagne makes more of his stamp visible on the WWA.
