Wendell Cooley defeats Norvell Austin when Rogers comes out and trips Austin by mistake. It gives a superkick by Cooley a bit more momentum. Austin kicks out just after three @ 8:05.

Bob Backlund and Jesse Barr w/Sir Oliver Humperdink wrestle to a 20-MINUTE DRAW. At the bell, Backlund has Barr in a chicken wing hold.
 
Bob Roop defeats Mike Rotundo w/James J. Dillon. A series of shoulder breakers by Roop are followed up by a standing hammerlock. Rotundo makes the ropes and, after some pleading by McGowan, Roop releases the submission hold. He argues with the ref and Dillon uses that distraction to get his man to the back. Rotundo is COUNTED OUT @ 13:00.

Slater has his hockey mask on and is giving Duncum a series of head butts to the ribs. McGowan tells him, emphatically, to stop. In a move that shocks the crowd, Slater headbutts McGowan. The DQ bell rings @ 21:18.
 
Brisco and Superstar, who have been fighting on the floor, are stunned.

Huge fan of the Barr push. I was just wondering myself why he did not go farther. Very talented guy. Wolfe Vs Horowitz would be a great opener but I think the match of the night would have been Backlund Vs Barr for sure with the Roop Vs Rotundo a close second. The main event shows why Slater is "Mr. Unpredictable".
