We then join Ed Whalen sitting at the announcer's table at ringside. Ed Whalen says he is happy to be back for another week in Stampede Wrestling and what a week of action. It is going to be a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy of a show. ** / 1. Owen Hart b. Johnny Smith by DQ after Smith bloodies up Hart with a chain A bloodied Owen joins Ed Whalen. He tells Smith that he has hit the wrong nerve. Smith did wrong busting open Hart and now it is a blood feud. Smith was like a brother to Owen and the Hart family. Now it has become extremely personal. Owen wants Smith on the 31st in Vancouver. If Smith has the guts he will get in the ring without the chain and wrestle. BUT if Smith wants to bring the chain, that is fine. No Hart is afraid to bleed for what is right. Johnny Smith’s number has been chosen and Owen Hart is going to come to collect. / / COMMERCIAL Monday: Lethbridge, Alberta Tuesday: Regina, Saskatchewan (Exhibition Auditorium) Wednesday: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Thursday: Medicine Hat, Alberta or Red Deer, Alberta (alternating) Friday: Calgary, Alberta Saturday: Edmonton, Alberta / / 2. The Tennessee Studs (Ken Wayne and Danny Davis with Floyd Creatchman) b. Davey Boy Smith and Ben Bassarab by countout when Davis posts Bassarab. The Studs double team Davey Boy until he is rescued by his cousin Dynamite Kid. Floyd Creatchman and his Studs join Jim Davies outside of the ring. Creatchman lets Davies know that Dynamite Kid had no reason to interfere, he had no reason to try and injure the Studs. Dynamite maybe one of the best junior wrestlers from the UK but this is Canada and the Tennessee Studs are from the glorious United States of America. If the “Kid” wants to be added as a target, with the “Boy”, then fine. Next week they can team up against the two MEN from Tennessee and the whole world will see what is what then. / 3. Bruce and Keith Hart wrestle to a time limit draw Vs Les Thornton and Tony Charles Bruce & Keith Hart let Ed Whalen know that nothing has been solved against Thornton and Charles. The Harts are known for their wrestling skills just like Thornton and Charles so how about this…March 31st in Vancouver it will be a SUBMISSION ONLY TAG TEAM MATCH!!!! Either a member of the Harts need to give up or it will be Thornton or Charles. Either way this will be ended on March 31st. / / COMMERCIAL Monday: Lethbridge, Alberta Tuesday: Regina, Saskatchewan (Exhibition Auditorium) Wednesday: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Thursday: Medicine Hat, Alberta or Red Deer, Alberta (alternating) Friday: Calgary, Alberta Saturday: Edmonton, Alberta / / 4. Mark Fleming b. Hubert Gallant Fleming demands that matchmaker Karl Gotch come to the ring and he does. Fleming asks Gotch when will it be his turn to face against the North American heavyweight belt holder, Mr. Hito. Gotch explains that it does not work that way exactly. There are contenders and Fleming needs to work his way up. Fleming pushes Gotch, saying he wants the shot on the 31st in Vancouver. Gotch asks him politely to not push him. Fleming does it again asking if that is what will get him his match. Gotch again asks him politely to not push him. Fleming decides to slap Gotch instead, who then attacks Fleming in retaliation. Fleming backs down and once Gotch turns to leave the ring he is thrust out with a huge running knee. Outside of the ring, Fleming posts Gotch, busting him wide open. He continues to attack the matchmaker until AWA Representative Dan Kroffat comes out to the defense of Gotch, running off Fleming, who decides that a duo of Kroffat and even a bloody Gotch might be too much for right now. / 5. “Mean” Mike Shaw with Ben Doon McDonald b.
