After being thrown to the floor, Rogers berates a young fan. Backlund slides down and hits a side suplex on the challenger. After reassuring the young man, he rolls Rogers in and locks on the chicken wing suplex @ 11:04.
The Mongolian Stomper w/ Gorgeous George, Jr vs. thunderbolt Patterson
Using the old time nastiness he referenced on this week’s TV, Patterson stays toe-to-toe with The Stomper. George gets on Bolt’s last nerve, though. He gets so frustrated with the manager’s interference that he shoves Patrick twice. The second push gets Patterson an unpopular DQ @ 12:00.
******INTERMISSION******
Jack Brisco/Jerry Brisco/Dick Slater vs. Jesse Barr/Ron Bass/Bobby Duncum w/Sir Oliver Humperdink
Slater brings the hockey mask to the ring but leaves it in the face corner. He doesn’t put it on but it does get in play. Patrick is busy with bedlam on the floor while Jerry and Jesse go at it in the ring. Hump flips Barr the mask and he clobbers Brisco with it. Patrick gets back in and counts the pin @ 24:00.
Slater puts the mask on and departs. The fans and The Briscos are perplexed.
